Default Where do you work from?

The topic of work location has been briefly touched upon over the past couple of weeks, and I thought it would be interesting to do a poll.

So - where do you work from?.. Do you have a home office, rent an offsite office, cruise the coffee shops or sit in the sofa in your pants?

For myself, I work from home - our living space is all open plan and I have a separate desk area.

I've recently been considering renting an offsite office - especially on the days when a little bit too much time is spent fannying around...

Casino City rents office space - we have about 10,000 square feet. It is close to home. My commute time is about 10 minutes tops to drive in each morning, and that is by way of a circuitous route since I drop my daughter off at school each morning. The trip home is only about 5 minutes.

I work at home and just got the garage converted (well, kind of!).

Love working from home though - wouldn't change it for the world.

All I ever need is my laptop and an internet connection

Working from home has advantages and disadvantages. I had an office for the last three years which was great but you can quickly get stale and bored working on your own every day. Now I'm back at home in my own office I seem to be much more productive and happier.

Different if you have a team of people of course. Then it wouldn't really be feasible for them all to keep piling round for bacon butties before work!

I love working from home. Right now I work in an office at someone else's home though. That was not an option so I didn't vote.

OCR rents an office and I do most of my work from there only. Of course I sometimes have to do a little bit at home and for this I have a small desk area in my apartment.

Of course, it is better to work from home, but the Internet is not my main income. Therefore, working in the office and work on a site along the way.

We bought the house next door to us and converted it to an office. Our staff work there but hubby and me work from our home office.
Its handy just popping next door for meetings - no commuting...
I remember once we had the guys in stitches because we had gone out to the shops and on the way past the house next door we decided to pop in and say Hi, and just drove the car in.
Of course everyone thought we had driven from our own house next door and were teasing us endlessly about how lazy we were
