It's that time of year again, and every damn year the spam from this scam gets worse.

I must have gotten quite a few dozen "last notification"s or "final notice"s.

The scam is always the same, hurry before you lose your spot, or be quick before your competetor gets it, etc etc etc.

And there must be a few dozen domains they use for tracking this spam, which makes filtering this one more problematic, and in a few weeks it will dies down.

Anything that wants you to "hurry" or "be quick" or any of that can safely be binned. It's low-rent "hard sell" that these days is reserved for TV shopping channels (often offered with a set of FREE steak knives) - not serious business development!

This scam has been going on for many years, but it always increases in the spring.

A fair amount of the spam selling this scam is "J T Richards" which is likely nothing but an alias/fake name anyway....lol

A perfect example is a spam email I just got supposedly from J T Richards. The sending domain is mail.spamwhowho58.com 184.22.22.44

This domain's whois shows Creation Date: 2014-04-24 19:10:00Z (in the above example the word spam is not part of the domain) So the sellers expect you to believe they are so honorable and have been selling this guide for x number of years but they have to keep creating domain names over and over and over each year to send their spam mailings.

Some of the names they buy have whowho or whoswho in the name.

And the fact that this spam comes from Scranton is no surprise to me.
