I did actually remember that after I posted. Either way we need them badly these days. I wish we could come with a plan as to how to do it.

Something like this could be right up AGD's alley as well. Not sure if they have the resources to do it but it would be awesome if they could add it to their repertoire.

Some good points on here and some i distinctly disgaree with but cannot be bothered to get in to an heated debate about it all but i will say this.

Affiliates have every right to complain these days, the performance of affiliate programs over the last year has dropped dramatically in my opinion, some of the things that have gone on are simply disgusting.

Now to qualify my statement with some background, i do ok financially, i work mainly in Europe but have started to break in to the USA market, i have been at this a few years now and probably am one of the lucky ones in that i have managed to succeed in this business and the future for me looks bright.

I probably get better treatment than a lot of affiliates because of relationships that i have established through sheer hard work over the years, i have a hard core of sportsbook that make me good money and all things considered am in a good position.

But because i am in this position and because i am not subjected to a lot of things that some smaller affilaites are subjected to like quotas and such like does not mean that i think what some of these respectable affiliate programs do is acceptable, far from it.

Quotas stink and i make no bones about that, i dont care how low the level is, they stink and stink bad and i hate quotas and sportsbooks that force this are seriously out of order.

It is nothing but a cheap ploy and is not somnething i could ever defend, as far as i am concerned if you sign up one player then you should be entitled to any earnings, having to get x amount per month and so on is just a way of withholding earnings.

In other businesses if you make a sale you get paid, the same should apply here.

Turnover within the affiliate managers positions is getting worse by the year, a huge amount of programs i work with have had new managers at least once in the last three years, i am hard pushed to think of a single program that has not had a different affiliate manager at least once.

Now this game for me is about relationships i build up with affiliate managers, it can work out well when an affiliate manager moves to another sportsbook because you have already established good relations with that person, become a friend and so on but having to start new relationshsips with new managers at sportsbooks is taking up so much time now and i am getting fed up with it.

Customer service has dropped also, it is simply poorer than ever, more and more mistakes are being made by affilaite programs, emails take longer to be responded to, payments becoming slower and so on, in fact the list is quite long.

Ok a little rant there and i said i did not wanna get involved in this debate too deeply but as far as i am concerned affiliates have every right to complain because they have good reason to, the quality of sportsbook affiliate programs is of a lower standard than before.

I have good relations (well did before i wrote this) and have been at this for a few years now and can say i am established and that allows me to mouth off without fear of upsetting too many affiliate managers because i make them money and visa verse but this business is not as good as what it once was and that is down to the affiliate programs in the mainand how they treat their affiliates.

And to all of us affiliates who don't make them alot of money... Keep your mouths shut...

I just got my account cancelled from PokerStars with commissions still owing. They treated it as a fraud because then they can withhold my commissions. Even though nobody in their right mind would consider offering an extra incentive fraud, they did. I still cannot get my mind around the fact that they are calling it fraud. I was unaware of the latest update to the terms and conditions, and I guess that it states in there it is not acceptable. I am not sure, because I can't see their T&C's since my account was locked out. No matter what, it is not fraud unless I did not plan to pay out the extra bonus. But even then, it would be fraud against my players, not PokerStars...

This is the latest thing that I have to complain about... Oh well...
    My 2 cents!
