You're absolutely right by saying that Wordpress is a open source platform. But two month ago one of my blog on online casino got banned for no reason. I had posted 5 posts in that blog. But one fine morning I was able to login but not able to update posts. I mailed to their service-centre...But the next thing that happened was Banning of my entire blog...

Has anyone faced the same problem?

I own a free blogging site and have banned a lot of casino / poker related blogs for being banner farms / splogs with no useful content.

It could happen if wordpress staff think your blog goes against their TOS, especially this paragraph:

the Content is not spam, is not machine- or randomly-generated, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party sites, or to further unlawful acts (such as phishing) or mislead recipients as to the source of the material (such as spoofing);

There's a difference between the free hosted wordpress blogs at blogpress and hosting your own wordpress blog.

If you host your own there is no way for wordpress to shut down your site. It's totally in your domain (pun intended).

1st...I have always written content which are unique. If I do take any content from anywhere else then I don't forget to link the source.

2ndly...I had not done anything (use of software or driving of traffic to any 3rd party site) that would be regarded as spam.

My blog was hosted by the free-wordpress blog. I'm planning to buy my own domain. If I buy the domain from Wordpress then will this problem happen again? Please help...

Again... if I do buy a domain then which service provider is the best one?

450 blogs and 100 new entries every week is something outstanding... Its great that you manage those many blogs.... When I started with my posts I started with the blogger version... Eventually by the fun and learning method (which I prefer the most) I have also started with the wordpress blogs... Its really interesting day by day that you come across learning lot of new stuff. I am sure I will be returning your thread for some questions.... Great post tho..
