Writing reviews of unpromoted operators

What do you think about writing reviews of operators who do not have aff programs or simply with whom we do not cooperate for various reasons? I noticed that you can get organic traffic this way and try to redirect it, of course giving a choice and not just redirecting.

I'd be looking at it a different way, not so much about what you can get out of it in hard $s....

So, assume you are a fairly new site that hasn't yet grown some level of authority..

And you write a page about sportsbetting sites...

And in your top list of 10 best sportsbetting sites in the world you fail to mention bet365, betway, or xxxx and xxxxx (debatable what the names should be but it's not about what names I think should be there, or you think should be there, but what the SE thinks should be there).

How could anyone (human or robot) think you were an expert authority on the best sportsbooks when you haven't covered 2, 3, 4 of the obvious 'best' ones? Certainly, they won't be thinking 'oh, he's left a few very important names out, but never mind, we know he did that because they don't make him any money, and he's still an expert'

Older authoritative sites might get away with it (though maybe not for much longer). Growing sites may have to be sending a fair number of other authority signals to get away with it.

That is, beyond the movement, we can gain authority....

In a certain niche, it is impossible to exhaust the topic, however, when we have a niche in which, there are, say 10 -15 operators around the world, such as some niche cryptocurrency or whatever.

And suppose site A from the list of 15 sites has reviews and descriptions of 7 , which have affiliate programs. The information on other operators is not there

Site B has a review of all 15 site, even though it does not cooperate with some.

Aside from the obvious, i.e. more traffic Site B gains more authority by exhausting the topic in its niche?

Is my line of thinking correct?

I have review pages for operators that I don't work with (anymore). Those pages get organic traffic and that traffic then goes to my other pages (sometimes).
If you can find a brand which had related KWs that you believe you can easily rank for - I'd say this is low hanging fruit and you should go for it even if the brand doesn't have an aff program.

That would be my thinking, yes.

As a young(ish) site, you don't have links, you don't have mentions, you don't have traffic. All of which means you don't have history, reputation, and authority. So, the only way you can show authority (or start to build it) is with content. And you have to show the SE it's good/exhaustive content. If you don't say what they expect you to say, along with better stuff than the others say anyway, then you look set to struggle.

I believe it is an acceptable alternative if you want to generate traffic or even draw the attention of that operator for potential collaboration.

However, even if you don't work with that operator and don't receive direct compensation, you need to make sure that the content is of high quality and it covers the basics to demonstrate your knowledge, so to speak, because otherwise, it may do you more harm than good. Of course, all of this must be related to the main topic of your page and you should try to redirect in a natural a smooth way to the pages that interest you the most, as it's not very useful to generate traffic that doesn't convert or only visit your website once.

Also, take into account that, like any content, it requires effort so evaluate if there aren't other options that could better serve you in achieving your specific goals.

I would disagree. Any organic traffic in gambling seems like it could be positive. From most slogans, there can always be a few big players.

Of course, this is not the same as littering your site with unrelated passwords and many other things just for traffic. However, within your own topic, I wouldn't ignore traffic.
