Im probably sticking with the Playstation brand just because Im used to it.
Does anybody know what will be the average price of consoles and games when they are in the market?
Waiting for Xbox One and PS4...
Take a look at Remember Me (action, adventure) by Capcom

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

Bought my ps3 2 1/2 years ago and spent about 2 hours playing games on it in total, mainly use it for netflix.
I'm sure I'll end up by the ps4 quite early on though for no apparent reason![]()
Yea, well the price listed in the Yahoo articles are probably the first official prices released in advance.
That means some places will sell for more, and it will be possible to get them in limited quantities from a few places at better prices.
My guess is that here in the US the prices at launch will be pretty close to what Yahoo listed in their articles.

Good post Maria. I know somebody that don t laugh right now:Xbox .))))))
But you know joking aside; there will be lots of players that despite the downsides of the new xbox they will still get it. I mean my son was telling me the pros and the cons and I think there are more cons than pros, but he loves halo and he think he will get the xbox.
I am actually looking forward to see how many changes xbox will do before the release date.
I am a big fan of God of War and for this reason I have only PS2 ans PS3. And I will buy a PS4.
Things are looking up for Xbox users http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/...-game-policies![]()

This is great news for gamers.
Glad to see they listened and adjusted to the market before the mistake was made.

Yeah that's great news, I'd consider Xbox One again after hearing that.
Hopefully it's a permanent move.
I wonder if you are right Maria,
Pretty much the same strategy why Google will not get rid of the totally useless little green bar.
What's the best way to get everyone talking about us? **** 'em off for a few days and then come in and make changes and prove that we listen and show them how much we care.....lol
If this was their strategy all along, it was brilliant, if not, it is still working so either way they win....lol

I actually didn't like what they did because it makes them look like they chickened out from their decisions once they saw all the bad publicity from it. Now they are backtracking when they realized they would get pummeled by Sony. So maybe its not that they are listening to their loyal fans but that if they don't change they will be destroyed in earnings.
Good point on one hand, but the two points do go together.
If public opinion sways against a brand (no matter what the reason) and articles and discussions go viral against that brand, it WILL affect future earnings.
Making changes to strategy to sway that opinion back whether done because of public opinion or earnings will have a similar effect no matter what the underlying reason is.

I've always been a playstation person. Never liked the Xbox controllers.
I see that microsoft changed their mind about the not sharing. One thing that I would see a positive of that would have been not having to share my games. Not that I don't like sharing, but often I will share a game with someone and I never get it back.
Xbox doesnt have singstar, so that would be the decider for me. I have every singstar disc there is, and the good thing about the PS2/3 is that they are backwards compatible. If the PS4 wouldn't allow me to play the older games on it I wouldn't bother buying it.
I can't imagine buying it anyway. I paid about 600 bucks when I bought our PS3 for my other half for xmas a few years ago. Granted that price was with games, an extra controller and a few other things.. I'm not in a hurry to spend that much money on something again.
