i'm shocked that 2 of my test sites that I have done nothing with since mid 2023 have suddengly come to life and started ranking. these are sites which I would experiment with, garbage sites yet now they are soaring in the serps lol

The spam update completed today - hopefully a lull now before the inevitable January 2025 Core Update!

So from what I can see is that the spammy test sites got a boost..

I am actually seeing sites with natural or smaller link portfolios going up and some very large sites with obvious altered link profiles including multiple wikipedia links falling quite a bit.. so in that ratguard i'm liking some of this one.

Got to say it seemed to be a really quiet update, perhaps just an adjustment to the previous core update or maybe one that skirted over our collective part of the world.
