Both ... but I would rather be going to Vegas Renee that's for sure!
Yes, going to SiGMA only

I don't think I'll go to either. Looking at the exhibitors, there are only 27exhibitors. http://www.igbaffiliate.com/events/b...rence#sponsors
At London there were over 150, http://www.igbaffiliate.com/events/l...rence#sponsors

Highly likely we'll be at BAC rather than Sigma. Still not entirely confirmed, but hoping to be there for sure!

Hope to go to BAC
I will probably go to BAC. I have never been to SIGMA. Is it similar in size to BAC? bigger? smaller?
Sigma for sure!

Has anyone noticed that Facebook is no longer a partner at BAC?
You know, that Alex, this mentally ill gorilla from AffPower, is attendee at Sigma, right?
If my informants are reporting me, that you made handshake with this criminal instead of throwing tomatoes at him, that will cause trouble.
I promise.

I must say I didn't see any Aff Power people at Sigma last year. In Amsterdam, I just saw Arik Weiss with Rock Solid Affiliates on his badge. I didn't see the rest of the gang.
One of their ex-employees approached me once when they had a booth in Amsterdam and she was asking me why I pass without talking with them. I told them that I do not work with criminals. Never ever got approached anymore by them, not including the spam mails they send of course.

All of sessions at BAC will have an audio recording with slides after the event. You can listen to nearly all of our past events.

Hi Shona,
may I ask you, if you found it appropriate for conference organizer to take money of criminal origin, created through hacking of schools, Kindergarten, old people homes and hospitals?
I am asking, because the Buffalo Crime Family is featured event sponsor at BAC, to be more specific lunch and smoothie sponsor.
I am sure, that again no one from this proven criminals will be at BAC in person, because they would be arrested by German police.
And of course, after everyone in this industry knows, that they are part of a worldwide operating criminal organisation, they cannot show their face anymore.
And regarding the Buffalo lunch and smoothie, this is that sort of food, thats sticks in the spectator's throat, because who want to eat from a stand that was opened by scumbags?
As long as such programs like the Buffalo Crime Family have entrance to BAC, I declare this conference disgusting and a shameful blot, and if the ordinary German people would know, what kind of criminals are allowed to be sponsor there, there would be huge uprise and they would chase you all away from BAC, from our soil, because hackers, their accomplices and also tolerators are not welcome here in my country.
"All of sessions at BAC will have an audio recording"
Hopefully, with the knowledge and agreement of all parties, because otherwise that's a crime here in Germany (German Criminal Code Section 201 (Violation of the privacy of the spoken word)).
Germany is no banana republic. You have to follow our rules, when you are guests here, so as we follow your rules, when we are guests in your country.

I'd like to see more posts like the above one, where people understand, that by going to a conference, they are supporting the very brands they bash. Take a look at some of the biggest exhibitors. What Shona and her company are doing is charging a fee, from thieving brands, so they come and have ground to lure more affiliates.
The fees they are able to extract from these companies are only justified if people like you, affiliates are there. So to sum it up, some of their clients are the very companies that steal from you. They have no problem with that, money is money.
I went twice once in 2011 and then in 2015 and then I decided that, by just going there I'm supporting the very thing that annoys me. Eventually nobody cares and it comes down to just money.
There's no behavior conduct, no background check, no T&C's check etc etc. It's all about "Hey can you pay my fee? Yes? Here advertise here"

BAC - No.
SiGMA - Yes.
LAC - only if it doesn't clash with school half-term again like it did this year. (Had to miss my first LAC for 10 years)
And as a PS: Totally agree with the above posts - rogue-ass criminals and operators with predatory affy terms should NOT be allowed a stand.

If I am right, SIGMA had some admission commission in which were also some affiliates. However, I can't take a super affiliate promoting AffPower in this case too serious... But the idea is good. I also saw more good programs there if I compare with BAC, LAC and AAC. Smaller booths, hence smaller fees, admission commission, etc.
I attend usually conferences, but I agree with above comments. Usually, you see big booths, manned by notorious rogue programs (10bet, 888, WH) and a lot of smaller booths, many times manned by kamikaze programs like IGT, Condor... They are very active for a while and after that, it seems they remain with an empty wallet.
I guess the implosion of binary will also have some impact on these conferences. At BAC for example, last year, were quite some binary booths.
For me, it's a good way to meet colleagues and to meet programs I am working with in person. I also walk at the floor a bit, but rarely I make there the decision to suddenly work with one of the programs having a booth. The increase of the number of events unfortunately doesn't seem to improve the quality...
