I agree this has to be dealt with it is a shady practice and we have to decide if working with RA is going to be in our best interest. I hope that GPWA can fight for our rights but there are others getting involved and taking note of this practice. I read a statement today in CAP http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...-your-players/

Also this is not the only program doing some pretty shady things as of late! There are another bunch of programs stealing our players and traffic, read more here... http://www.affiliateguarddog.com/for...html#post26391

Hi Renee just wanted to publicly make it clear I have always enjoyed previous times communicating with you. It was always a pleasure having some laughs with you in the forum under better circumstances. You have always been a decent person who helps all affiliates. I even appreciated the Pics you sent along the way a few months back and the favor you did as well. So please do not take offense I totally think your a valuable asset to the industry and any company who scores you is LUCKY and should pay big time!!!

As i have been vocal about the cross promotion issue and was called out for still promoting sites that cross promote, I decided this person who called me out was in fact correct that I should show by example.

For this reason I am puling all rewards casinos due to cross promoting and adding it to my Rogue lists.

I just want you to know I have allot of respect for you and appreciate everything you have done and i like you as person and appreciate everything you do for the community. This has no reflection on you -- I just think your ownership at rewards is not doing justice for affiliates and harming the industry in many ways by continuing down this path.

Wishing you lots of luck in the future and hope things are not to hard on you - your a good decent person and i feel bad for you under the conditions you may have to work under.

Hope to see you post more often like you used to but understand why you may not!

    Steve

Well said sir. I recently said basically the same thing to Renee, or hope I was able to correspond my feelings in such a well-said manner.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

The poll was to obtain a sense of the membership. As I stated in the private members section, those opinions have been shared with Rewards Affiliates.

More precisely, the objective of the poll was to determine a more detailed and analytical sense of the members so Rewards Affiliates management would be better able to better appreciate the seriousness of the issue at hand. The hope of members is that the strong message will result in appropriate actions being taken to address the situation by Rewards Affiliates.

I understand you are impatient for us to terminate their sponsorship. However, there is a process we follow in such matters that I believe maximizes the likelihood of a positive outcome, even though that process might try your patience.

The membership has spoken and the majority voted to suspend. For me, this is currently not about Casino Rewards - they have spoken already and said they have no intentions of changing what they are doing - this is about GPWA failing to hold the interest of affiliates in high regards.

Arkyt you are wrong on this and I have to say if you was a private member you would know this.

Michael I am so sorry that I am about to copy a section of what was written in the private members thread on casino rewards and I will accept censure for breaking the private members code of conduct and even suspension or a ban if deemed appropriate, but someone needs to point this very relevant fact out.

Michael wrote this about then poll

So, please note that this early poll is posted to obtain a sense of members and not to make any actual decision.

There it is Arkyt, Michael made it absolutely clear that the poll was NOT to take any action, everyone that voted knew this and the vote was taken under this condition, this was never ever about taking action and to suspend any program after a poll has been taken when the condition of that poll was that no action would be taken but to guage the memberships feelings, then that would be downright unethical.

If Casino Rewards are suspended because of this poll, that would be a disgrace and I honestly feel that any member that voted against Casino Rewards would agree as well, Arkyt, you can call for suspension all day long, but not based on that poll, that poll had a very specific condition attached to it, a condition that simply cannot be ignored.

So Arkyt, this is not about the GPWA failing to hold the interests of affiliates in high regard, this is the GPWA sticking by what it actually wrote.

Arkyt, I would very surprised if you are really asking Micheal to break the conditions of the poll, now that really would be disrespectful to the affiliates.

I for one did vote (voted NOT to suspend) but I have kept my own council on this and have not posted in the any threads about this, If however I did think that the poll was about taking action against CR, I would have been far more vocal, but the poll was about taking no action and therefore I kept my mouth shut and allowed others to vote without me trying to influence them one way or the other.

There will time for that I am sure later.

IMO if you think this first poll has helped you are very wrong, it was absolutely worthless to harvest feelings as this industry has none.

"I for one did vote (voted NOT to suspend)"
"I would have been more vocal...if taking action against CR"

only if actions will be taken you switch to the other side.....great....not been much of help to us who have to cope with this issue.........

"There will time for that I am sure later" - I am sure not getting younger each day.........time is money...........do not waste mine.

GCG not sure what you are on about to be honest, maybe you have misunderstood what I have said,

I said I voted not to suspend

I then said that if I thought the poll was about taking action I would have been far more vocal.

I never said that only if action is taken would I switch to the other side, I said I would be more vocal, that was all

I voted not to suspend and never felt the need to explain why or give my opinion because the poll clearly stated that no action was to be taken.

If action was to be taken I would have explained why in my opinion CR should NOT be suspended.

I have never said I would change sides, I would not, I hope that is now cleared up.

I also never said the first poll helped, please show me where I said that and I will of course withdraw that remark, I do not neccasarily believe the first poll helped.

Finally GCG please do not accuse me of wasting your time or money, I never started the poll, I never set any time tables, I have not been active in this other than my own vote so no idea at all why you ask me not to waste your time or money, that is an issue you should take up with Michael and not me, it is his site, his poll, his company that has CR has sponsors.

All I have done is point out the conditions of the poll, what is so wrong with that?

Finally GCG may I ask this question?

If you participate in any poll, not just this one and it states clearly that no action would be taken and then action is taken, would you not think that you had been mislead by the terms of the poll?

Finally to say this inductry has no feelings is unjust in my opinion, yes it is in a mess but there are a lot of people in tghis industry, both affiliates and programs that are genuine, honest, ethical and certainly do have feelings, such a widespread remark is unfair IMO.

    Malarkey!

I understood the polls intent perfectly; I wasn't asking for any action based soley on its results. At the same time thats one heck of a poll concept hey everyone this is a poll question Do you think CR should be suspended - oh and please note even if you say yes the poll really wont be used to make any actual decision. What kind of stroking is that? LMAO!

Yep, me asking to suspend eg to actually stick up for affiliates instead of standing against them is disrespectful to affiliates - ok.

Again, the poll was not to be used "soley" to make any actual decision - it should be considered though! Several items now point to a suspension. 1) CR are doing something that hurts affiliates. 2) CR has admitted they are doing it. 3) CR has said they will not stop doing it. 4) Affiliates were polled and the majority state that GPWA should suspend them....

Betpartners - this industry as a whole simply does not care! This site boast of 11,000 members there abouts and how many of those actually participate in important issues?

I agree with that condition attached the GPWA can not suspend.

Arkyt, addressing this issue has been postphoned since the first time it showed on the board.

The sad truth about CR/RA has been told, however some seem to sympathize with them despite all warnings.

Arkyt it was you that said the following and not me

The membership has spoken and the majority voted to suspend.

All i did was point out that the poll clearly stated that no action would be taken as a result of the poll

Why this need to put words in my mouth? don't have a go at me for pointing out the conditions of the poll, it was NOT me that created the poll or set the conditions, but I did vote based on that condition.

And yes it is disrespectful to affiliates to create a poll, set conditions, then once the result is in change the conditions.

You would not like that I am sure, but because you have a bug about GPWA and CR which is well documented you appear top be condoning such action.

That is up to you mate, I am not like that.

You added this on afterwards and so I was unable to respond to that part in my first response.

To a certain degree I agree with that statement, I do wish more affiliates would participate in important issues, that point I am agreement with

I feel this poll has mislead a lot of members that is what I meant.
This will lead to false conclusions and spread the herd, which it actually did.

I was going to write it has mislead. But that was due to myself not reading the poll correctly to begin with. It clearly says no decision would be made from the poll. It was to get a feel of what members thought.

Now that has been voiced, what is the next step? Does this mean its all finished with?

Nothing against Renee, but Rewards Affiliates have publicly announced what they are doing. They have also announced they are not budging on the subject. Why would any new affiliate signup and choose to promote them, when they clearly admit to the fact they are stealing "Cross Promoting" our players we send them.

I have been holding off all this time to remove them hoping they would come to the party and change or reconsider their decision. But as far as i am concerned they have had long enough. I am removing them all from my sites today.

If Affiliate programs all start cross promoting and we allow this to happen, NO MATTER how reputable they have been in the past then this industry is over. See the bigger picture here people.

If Affiliate Programs want us to bust our ass off finding them more income, then stop bloody finding ways to screw us affiliates. With out us you wouldn't be here.

Renee, Move to another group who don't steal. You are far to good for them and they deserve to fall flat on their ass as far as I am concerned. I know all other leading affiliate programs would love to have you and pay top dollar to have you. As long as you are with rewards affiliates i cannot work with you or the programs you are promoting. Nothing personal.

Thanks for that I have taken my site down to remove all RA brands. It's the end of the road for there casinos in my opinion. Its just the start of a reputable brand turning rogue.

For people to blame the GPWA though and call them unethical because they aren't jumping to the demands of potshot mongers, is totally rubbish.

If Michael and the team are going through the channels to either resolve or finally make a decision to remove them as a sponsor, then that process needs to go through it's course. However, affiliates need to look out for their own interest as well in this, and that is why i would suggest removing Rewards Affiliates and their casinos until this is resolved.

I still think Renee should work for someone else though

I called them unethical in 1 post for referring to Casinocity profits regarding promoting CR which IMO is a COI.

CR/RA can easily walk away with this as GPWA is not an affiliate watchdog, if this would be a smart move is a totally different story as this sure will have major consequences moreover as more tend to become vocal about this.

I hope they will reconsider because once their brands have been dragged through the mud it will start to contaminate their reputation very fast.
