Anyone having success with Google+?

[pinman]

IMO Google+ is a useful addition to any sites social media strategy - even if only as a SEO signal for Google.

For those concerned about it taking up more valuable time - use Buffer to schedule updates to it, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram at the same time (and with different content)

and the story behind the story is...google dont use FB or TW or all the other social pages to rank pages...
U can get traffic but not a better rank...

No, I don't use it

If you promote your articles on Google+, I think that Google+ posts will be fast indexed and after that the articles from your site.

G+ or any social media is good for branding. Fresh traffic

We're currently reviewing our social profiles and can see how having an active Google+ profile would be beneficial to our SEO efforts.

Does anyone have much success using G+ as a social platform, if so in what way? or is it just a tick in the box for SEO?

I don't find G+ that effective in social media.

pretty much a waste of time for generating gambling traffic IMO. Only use it for posting articles to get backlinks

Til now I have not got any success through gogole+. But I am sure if I use it for a long time with appropriate title and image I will achieve my target.

I have not seen any results so far, to be honest, but I haven't had as much experience yet to come up with a solid response. So far, not much though.

Google+ is quite useful. That's if you know exactly how to use it. You can create your own profile (or profiles on it) and put up your various websites and articles and such and you can also use it alongside your Social Advertising work and you can also use it when submitting your websites to Google. Just a word of warning though, don't overdo it. Google is not so quick to be forgiving toward anyone.

Has always been a dumb platform. Like honestly, if it did not the name 'Google' in it, and it was some random small company, none of you would even bother with its flawed, clunky design, with circles, plus profiles and what not. Even Google gave up on their author pages and discontinued them after eagerly promoting it as a 'ranking' signal and part of the search algo.

I did bother with sharing and updating for a few years, but after a while I stopped. Didn't notice any change and why should I. Something like this cannot be significant, cause if it is, can easily be manipulated by "top seo agencies" that can rank 11 sites in top 10.

Bottom line, highly unlikely anyone has success with it, on a platform used mostly by fellow webmasters, treating it as a seo signal.

I think it's really good for SEO to have a lot of relevant real Google +

I haven't tried to buy it, I think it can be little dangerous because you can maybe get a penalty.

What do you think? Do you have any experience with buying Google +?
Let me know, thank you

[promotiontailor]

There are so many social networks I used before Google +. Till now I have not seen any results from Google +.

[Escape_01]

PUshing on G Plus has its benefits if your site SEO is good with no bad links, blackhat SEO, etc.
Since they're pushing their own platform for years now, they do try to give minor benefits to those who actually use it.

Personally, G+ has always been an annoyance for me - privately. I can't see it being different for anyone else

[Breakout Ewa]

Used it for a lottery brand a while back but didn't see any results. Will be revisiting it for casino.

Google+ will be closed but no matter, I've never seen any positive result of using it.
