BAC Bit of a joke

When I attended last year I recall the exact same problem regarding the hotel bar and time drafting beer. In the end, I had to go to the other bar in the foyer and buy some bottled blond beers. They were fine ofc. but there isn't something more annoying than waiting 30 + mins for a nice draft beer after a long and talkative day

There was also a crazy amount of people at the pre-drinks, more than I have seen at any of these before.

Accidents do happen but when you have flown half way around the world, the last thing you want to do is get stuck standing in a foyer.

Im the OP and did it while standing in the foyer, I was very frustrated at the time! But the event ended well we still got to all of our scheduled meetings. I was surprised to see how quiet it was on the Saturday.

One criticism, we were there to get business done and the guys with the maracas were ridiculous they interrupted us at almost every meeting. Same with the crazy astronaut guy he would just but in to your meeting trying to give you cards.

Thanks Alex .. Overall the Conference was good .

Shona , James , Ed etc all do a great job in organizing these events and I can only imagine how stressful it can be.

So yes it was a little bit of a delay in getting in but I think it was soon forgotten after the event got underway .
Lets just put our hands together i think for another great event

I remember when I worked in a bar, I could do 2 pints at once plus we had automated soft drinks dispensers so you could viably be pouring 2 soft drinks and 2 pints at the same time. I get REALLY annoyed when I see slow service behind bars, but as in most things, you just can't get the staff these days!

True. In many bars I see people drafting beers really fast. Here they took minutes to draft a beer. That is really annoying. What was even more annoying is them taking orders, but not completing them.

I do understand the problem with the truck accident, but anybody looking 3 minutes in this bar, should have been able to conclude that it's not the right place for an opening drink like this.

Crowne Plaza is not the official hotel anymore, it's now Sheraton. That seems to be a better option than Crowne Plaza.
