Hello
If we think a casino group doesn't behave properly with players (payment issues), is it our right to blacklist all of their casinos on our websites?
or
Can the casino group sue our website for this?
Thanks for your messages

As long as you are providing verifiable facts and can back up your claims you should be ok. However, if you are not being honest and only have an axe to grind you could be sued for libel, slander, defamation of character, etc.
On the other hand, you still may be sued if they take the hard road.
Best to consult an attorney as I am in no way a legal expert.

Thanks for your answer
Its on all the forums that they pay after four month time,
and their casinos are already blacklisted by some casinos guide
They want to sue my website because i v some postion on google for their casinos name,
otherwise they wouldn't matter..
Remember the main defence against any action is truth. If you tell the truth about their behaviour and can prove it then fire away with the negative reviews. That said, in the real world, there is nothing much to stop a bullying operator threatening and harassing an affiliate into submission.
In my experience, it is a fairly common form of bullying to threaten someone with a lawsuit. Certainly it has happened to Casino City a number of times over the years. However, never once has such a threat been followed through with action. We consistently disregard threats that are based on someone not liking what we have done based on the ethical principals we follow, and notify the threatening party of that fact. Not once has anyone actually initiated any legal action against us. Of course, in the rare instance where, upon review, we feel we have not done the right thing, we are quick to take corrective action.
We do maintain a list of casinos we believe to be rogue, and our listings for such casinos and gaming properties frequently rank quite highly. In my opinion, the more of us that do this the better for everyone. So please, continue to take a stand, and know you have the support of the community at large in doing so.

In your situation i would firstly express the blacklisting as the 'opinion of this site' and try and find other reputable portals that have already posted about the same issue (look at CasinoMeister, AskGamblers and Gambling Grumbles) and link to those articles on the relevant page - that should put you on fairly steady ground.

Hi
The casino group in question is rome partners, they say they will sue my website
because i blacklisted them and wrote that they don't pay players properly (in the title of my review)
I'm just warning players, cause it's not normal they receive their money 4 month after and with the help of a webmaster
They call what i do "diffamation"
Anyone had problems with rome partners like this??
I
Like was mentioned earlier, you possibly should be a bit careful about how you say things.
In your opinion, you feel that Rome Partners is not paying players properly, and you can back that up with statements or references to situations where you found players complaining of not being paid their winnings etc....
....but you can't just make a blanket statement that it is a fact a group should be considered theives and that they don't pay and then not provide any facts to back up your statement.
I have not had the time to take a look at how you worded your statements in this case, but maybe a few others here can do that and help make recommendations...

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!
Yes, give examples of what they have done wrong. Some of the advice already given to you in this thread is good. I like what thepogg said about linking to other reputable sources to back up what you say.
Remember, it can not be defamation if it is true. I would tell them that and tell them to bring it on, but that may not be the best advice (just what I would do!)
There are stacks of reports at AskGamblers and GamblingGrumbles regarding Rome - the truth is that almost all of them are resolved successfully so you may be on shaky ground claiming the don't pay. What you could say is that there is an unusually high number of player issues with this group, specifically involving substantial delays in payment. While i respect the fact that they mop up the mess where so many other brands just ignore player complaints, if they were providing good CS they wouldn't generate so many complaints in the first place.
