Live dealer is on its way! The Bodog Live Dealer Studio is currently being built in the Philippines under license from the First Cagayan. As stated in an interview with bodog88 licensee Robert Gustavsson, "The state of art studio will feature high quality video feeds, beautiful women, the most popular games and a tonne of specialty side bets and bonuses for players. It will be a community for Bodog members to come together online, chat, socialize and do a little gambling".
Lots of exciting things happening in bodog brand world at the moment, that is for sure!

Awesome Becky! That is a huge move for Bodog and a great addition in my opinion.
Now, with that new UK license - maybe adding bingo is a bit more appealing?![]()

Bodog has beaten so many odds, and is continuing to beat them. I hope they survive and
thrive very well, and also encourage other operators to think outside of the box![]()
The .co.uk site makes no mention of any UK jurisdiction. I take it you're going to put up a link to the relevant "regulatory" body? All there is is this:
http://www.antiguagaming.gov.ag/Seal...?ID=2223010108
...which is quite a way away.
EDIT: For some reason you can only access that link via the Bodog site (bottom left of home page).

What is actually located at 10 Hills Place?
How long did the process take?
I reckon you can forget all those questions, as they appear redundant. Check this out:
http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk...ransaction.asp
So, as far as the player goes, the UK, or "the world's most robust and respected regulatory regime" according to the Calvin Ayre site spin, is useless. Or did I miss something? How to raise a dispute:
The licence holder should investigate the dispute, escalating as necessary, following their internal complaints procedure and informing you of the outcome.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, ask the licence holder to refer the dispute to their appointed independent third party for investigation.
What happens if the independent third party does not find in my favour?
Normally that will be the end of the matter.
Can we help to get your money back?
Generally the answer to this question is no. We do not assist in obtaining a refund of stakes placed, or put into a gaming machine.
Phone call to the commission pencilled in for tomorrow. I'll post what they say.

Just got off the phone.
Hard to believe that the UK Commission does not have an arbitration service![]()
. Malta, Gibraltar and Alderney all have such (granted they're largely useless). The GC outsources everything to an "independent 3rd party", but this can be ANY "independent" person. Absolutely anyone, no casino experience required, and they are appointed BY the casino!
If this ad hoc individual finds for the casino, the only recourse is legal action.
Stepping back a bit, you can say that, the operator being IN the UK makes them subject to UK law, and this is not a banana republic so a screwed player has a good chance, most likely in the Small Claims Court for a smallish fee (max £120). But the GC itself does nothing. N-O-T-H-I-N-G. You get that last bit OK?
I'm nothing short of speechless. The UK Gambling Commission appears to be THE single most toothless, pointless and useless "regulator" of them all. They offer nothing to the player. Frankly, they might as well not exist.
Good research Caruso.....
But they get to collect all that money in order to call themselves a reglatory body huh?
Don't worry, the US will screw it up worse because they will charge more, help players less, and create policy that hurts players and operators.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!
I would expect the US to at least enforce their rules strictly, something I'm not expecting any time soon from my "liberal" countrymen.

I'd still like to know what is located at Bodog's "physical" address at 10 Hills Place in London. I'll stop by when I'm next up. I'm betting it's a PO box. I'd also like to know when they're going to remove the Antigua stamp. If they're so excited about it, strange they didn't see fit to announce it where it really matters, as opposed to on affiliate forums.
Still no sign of their UK license on the homepage, still the Antigua seal. On the about us page, also nada:
Anyone know what's going on with that?Bodog Europe holds the exclusive license to the Bodog brand for online gaming in Europe, and operates Bodog.co.uk pursuant to current Interactive Gaming and Wagering Licenses, and is regulated and overseen by the Antigua and Barbuda Financial Services Regulatory Commission, Directorate of Offshore Gaming. The United Kingdom’s Department of Culture, Media and Sport have designated and recognized Antigua and Barbuda as a trusted, highly-regulated “white listed” jurisdiction effective Nov. 3, 2008.
Don't worry, its for real, I promise. The license doesn't go into effect for another few weeks/month or so, I cannot remember the exact date. The bodog.co.uk site will reflect the license as soon as it goes into effect and in the meantime here's a link to the UK Gambling Commission site where you can see the Bodog UK listing:

Becky
Try this? Don't know why that happened!
https://secure.gamblingcommission.go...ccountNo=29023
Strange, I get the same error both in the oold link posted as well as the new one.
But if I search for bodog I see it and it is the same link as posted....

What will happen to our US players when Bodog stops accepting them in 2012?
http://www.casinoscamreport.com/2011...mes-to-an-end/
"The powers that be in the Bodog Corporation believe that staying in the US market may eventually hurt their stellar reputation and they wish to avoid any negative perceptions that the US government is thrusting over the online gambling market. Players who have accounts still active at the end of 2011 will have a choice to either withdraw their monies or they can have it transferred over to a new site that Morris Mohawk Gaming will be opening in 2012."

Try this one:

EDIT: OK, neither actually works.
