Bon Voyage to CityGuard!

CityGuard (aka Steven Corfman, aka my son) made a decision a while ago that he wanted to study law and become an attorney. He officially began that journey this week, with his first day attending law school being Monday.

Earlier this spring he was admitted to several law schools, and being the good negotiator that he is, convinced one of those law schools to not only provide him with a full tuition scholarship, but also provide him with a stipend toward living expenses.

Now Anthony, who's the sheriff around here, talked with me about whether there was anything we could do to ensure the city would continue to be guarded. But, alas, we came to the reluctant conclusion that there was nothing we could do. We just had to accept that we were doomed.

So, today we make the bittersweet announcement that CityGuard has started on a new voyage. We wish him smooth sailing, and great success.

We will miss your being around, but we do expect visits now and then.

Hi Michael,

I know he is going to be missed and he is not replaceable anyway!

We wish Steven the best! I have spoken to him in person about this journey he is making and it is truly inspiring. Looking forward to hear how he is doing on this new endeavor.

Since Steven has provided us all so many fun moments over the years, I thought it wa fitting to give him his own "fun" thread also, besides it may provide him minutes and minutes of fun reading it in the future.
