There are rumors CASH money will not be allowed in stores etc (May contain the virus etc), a future cashless society we all need be chipped and then the system takes over ?

The Corona virus according to new studies can remain airborne for 3 hours, 3 days "alive" on hard surfaces (steel / plastic / glass)

So my question would be if its in the air keeping each other 1.5 meters apart is not going to work in all situations

70% will get infected eventually probably because the virus does not seem to be affected by higher temperatures

(The MERS also a corona virus formerly in Egypt is a close relative of COVID19)

It may come back in winter time while infections drop off in summer and this for the next years a scientist told this on nat tv

    Bad news, Preppers.
I did not find one single shop that accepts cash during corona. Suprmarkets, petrol stations and deliveries all is abruptly cashless.
I hope you packed a lot of prepaid cards to your survival kits, otherwise the aliens will track your cold pizza.

... and chips are somewhat old; why you need a chip when cellphone is enough? No cellphone, no access. Problem solved. Cheaper than chips. But yeah, that fear of having the alien in your body is priceless. It will last as long as QE.

We've been told to use cards, and not cash. It's a concern to me personally because my partner, she's a bank manager, and their bill counting machine is broken; what a time for that to happen hey!

Told her to wear gloves, but reckons she can't count the cash quick enough, wearing them.

I am wearing gloves (and facemask) from January when I got the corona, because this disease is really weird and right now I have fever again. Doing anything in the gloves is a mess (phone is ok).

Another thing is that I bought 4 packs/100pcs each and by now they are almost gone. And of course they are impossible to be bought by now. So well, I am panic buying and hoarding at least the pasta now. Once it is gone, it is gone for good. In the country I am in by now yeast is off btw.

Hey Sherlock, how do you know you had it? Did you use a test to check?

Think life will become a lot easier/clearer when tests are readily available

I am not sure, no test. I just caught weird disease at Hokkaido, where the disease spread by the time and there are always a lot of Chinese guys and you are there in close contact with everyone in onsen/hot spa.

I wrote about it here, everything was like the corona is. Dry cough, difficulty to breathe, impossible to hold air in lungs and so on.

The tests are strategic weapon of china right now, so they will not be easily available. Many countries try for their own tests. But after people learn how to behave and after tests are available, corona will be under control. Economy might however never get under control anymore.

Waiting to see what Boris Johnson decides to do next as he addresses the nation within the hour. It's quite clear the current advice he gave is not working or being followed, a bit of sun at the weekend the beaches and parks were packed, with very few people taking notice of social distancing.

We are slowly getting closer to lockdown, pubs, clubs and cafes were closed last Friday and many shops have decided to close anyway to reduce the risk and help prevent the spead of the virus.

I do not know how much in contact he is with Chineses, but I was exactly at the time of outbreak. My gf got just cold for 2 nights. I was not fully ok even 3 weeks ago. I had many weird issues by the time (beginning of March) - I was able to walk 30 km in rough mountains but way off my normality - problems with breathing. It was like this: https://www.straitstimes.com/sport/c...es-in-recovery Also other things like I felt blood in my mouth and from my lungs. Structure of my cheeks from mouth was like very rough when I touched it with tongue (those are not as far I know corona symptoms, but it just shows the disease was indeed weird).

Now after I was ok, I flew on one of last planes to Europe (many ppl caughing on half-empty plane to Switzerland). I got 4 dental implants and again I have fever, short breath and conjunctivitis again although on antibiotics. I thought it is an impact of the implants, but honestly I am not sure anymore it is the problem from implants.

It would be fun if this corona spreads over and over again without immunity of those infected. So in the end we will all fall like weak flies.

Whatever, I am ready for death, I just pity my cats who have food for one year max. My gf will go will go with me.

I think all countries will look at China and Russia and to see what they make to prevent more people to get ill. China with all those population, make isolations and with hard hand make fast all the things. Many say, that this is not liberal and etc and etc, but see how many new cases they has now. UK a ver very big freedom now in this situation and Im amazing why and what will happend there. Mabe they has still time to take this virus serious.

UK had all the time to look at themselves from Suez crisis. You want to take something seriously weeks after Brexit? You can not teach old dog new tricks. Eastern Europe has 2 clear advantages against Western EU + USA.
    1. Self-esteem of people is way lower
    2. People change slippers inside of houses* as in South East Asia

    * My secret theory is that just that is saving Germany

Sunshine combined with Mother’s Day meant for some gross stupidity. After Boris’s war cry tonight perhaps people will take heed, let’s hope so.

I've heard that a person can survive for 2 weeks without food as long as they have water...
I also read an article where a man survived 386 days without food. Mind you, he was morbidly obese...

Didn't China offer to send tests to the US and trump declined?

    Hi Guys,

I wonder how our daily routine will be changed by this pandemic. Are we going to learn from it? will we change the way we normally do things?
I suppose young people will get over the panic mode pretty fast. In my case, a trip to the supermarket and any public place won’t be the same. I was a bit of a germaphobe to begging with, so I am trying to keep positive. I hope this won’t impaired people’s lives too much, fear can be crippling.

Sorry, didn’t mean to get too dark. I was just thinking what will be the mental ripple effect after thing get back to normal.

There is a saying in my country that when war comes the fat will be thin and the thin will be tough. Sadly I am not fat. But I am vegetarian for 30 years, so I will survive on grass and roots, however I still slightly prefer pasta.

Each country on their own. Trump understands at least how power works (if he really declined the offer). There is always price to be paid. The higher is price the more one needs it. Countries that now go to azz of china will pay the price in future. There are just bad decisions now. But the worst was to do nothing between half Feb until now, when it was already obvious this corona will cause total mess.

Not so much something I’ll do differently but it’s been refreshing to see how much better my 3 kids have been getting on with each other since we’ve been social distancing, which in effect amounts to virtual self (well family) isolation. We’re attempting to keep them studying at home and building in breaks for exercise etc, but there’s undoubtedly been a massive improvement in how they interact/play together and I’ll be keen to keep that element going when we get the other side of this.

That sounds so nice. I am so pleased that you are enjoying the time with your family. I did start my yoga again and I am loving that, so I will try to keep more positive.
