Dishonest practices of Videoslots Affiliate

I would like to share with you what happened to me from the Videoslots affiliate program.
It all started in April this year when I reported to them that I had not received my commission.
After two weeks I received a reply.

"Your account has been triggered by the system in the group of accounts which did not qualify for having referred a minimum 6 new depositing players in the last 6 months as per point 6.5 of our Affiliate T&Cs.
For this reason, your payment has been cancelled; we hope you understand that our goal is to work together if possible and we invite you to get in-touch with us to discuss how we can reactivate your account and start working together again"


This is a record of their regulations:
6.5 The Company reserves the right to reject/reduce the Affiliate’s Commission/change the Reward Plan if:(1) The Affiliate substantially reduces its efforts to promote the Company, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted (e.g. Netherlands), and/or(2) the existing Reward Plan results in a financial loss to the Company, and/or(3) the Affiliate does not generate a minimum of 6 New Depositing Customers in a period of 3 months, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted (e.g. Netherlands), and/or(4) in the event of legal/regulatory changes to a market.

I have been promoting Videoslots since 2015.
99% of my traffic comes from Poland. About 2 years ago, Videoslots blocked the possibility of registering from Poland. Players from Poland registered before the blockade can continue to play until today.
I will add that before blocking registration in my country, I promoted Videoslots very strongly.
However, question arises how to meet the requirements of Regulation 6.5, because it is not my fault that I cannot provide new players (I only earn from old players)

By acting this way, you can deprive any partner of your earnings. It's enough for videoslotsAffiliate to enter the regulation not about 6 active depositors, but about 60 or 260.
They change regulations, how they want and when they want.


I also think that in one way or another, a similar situation awaits every partner.

And no affiliate got an update about that change of their T&C either so they are doing this really dirty. And lets not forget the total silence from any AM or representative from Videoslots.

After exchanging e-mail, I think I was able to solve my situation. That is what I received from them.

"As you obviously have not been able to control the matter and since we did close Poland before this rule was introduced, we will make an exception for you. We will remove you from the inactive list, so that you will keep getting your payments. This will be done asap, and it will go back to normal again."

I will post in this thread as soon as I receive commissions.

Videoslots have recently lowered their RTP on NetEnt and Play'n Go slots. (For example Starburst from default 96% to 94% and Book of Dead from default 96% to 94%...).. another sign its going the wrong way for them

I got the same mail and I didn't get paid. I didn't deliver because they asked me to be removed from some GEO's. And now they suspend payments. All the big bla bla bla bla of Miles about new markets seems to be also just bla bla bla.

After lowering the RTPs they now just shave affiliates by not paying the fee that's left after 90% deductions.

They're having financial troubles or something?

This one is for Twin Spin. And if you check gameinfo of Twin Spin at Videoslots you will see that they have set it to 94% which is lower then the default 96%.

Yes. Affiliates do a really good job, but they take all the profits

We have been working with them.....but after reading this post its time to suspend them.

The ironic thing is that they actually treat their players very well - I have been playing there for 2 years and get instant payouts, top support etc etc. Just a pity they don't treat their Affiliates the same way!!!

I played there from April 2016 to late 2018, when they kicked AU to the curb. Initially, VS seemed quite generous. However, they used a LOT of fake advertising ploys, and carrot-dangling to sucker players in, especially High Rollers like myself.

Ironically, not unlike the same BS used on their affiliates. For example Video Slots claimed:

• 25% cashback on all slot spins... BUT after VS shaved it, 1% was the true cashback.
• 25% of its weekly profit back to players - more BS. After shaving that 25%, it was only 1%.
• VS reduced the RTP of slots, without informing their players (just like the sneaky player quotas), no one was told.

The 1% cashback, at some point in early 2018 took a dive, and settled around 0.3% cashback. Again, no one was told.

VS knew their player marketing wasn't ethical. But that didn't stop them. Least not until the UKGC commenced website audits. Within 24 hours of that announcement, Video Slots YANKED all their UNETHICAL marketing BS.

As my sig says: Do the right thing, even when no one is looking. It's called integrity.

Seems Video Slots and CEO Alexander Stevendahl, are clueless about integrity. Many unethical practices have been used on both players and affiliates.

Despite that my account has now reached £182.00 GBP over a couple of years time, they refuse to pay me due to their dodgy terms & conditions.

This is their reply of today: Our management and developers have unfortunately not paid you due to inactivity according to our terms and conditions. These states that you will need to bring in at least 6 players in 3 months to get paid. So what we can really do about this, is for you to start up again and hopefully work more with us to get more players - after which we will be able to send your payment.

I have never really trusted them and that's why I have never sent them customers. I just wanted to "test" them.

My advice is to keep away from Videslots.com
