Agreed - if he is going to continue to grant me the opportunity to post my displeasure about how he runs the place, I should be just as happy to let him spout off once in a while. I guess I was just seizing the opportunity to stir the pot - thats my role you know. I reckon I'm done for the time being ...

Hope everyone has a great night!

Arkyt, or Brian or should that be BRAIN. Not only are you a numpty but I believe you to be a petty small minded jerk ( You don't need to look that one up do you ) who is nothing but a cancer in this industry.

You and your paranoid sidekick started this thread, which is not only a personal attack on me, but several other webmasters who unlike you and your delusional friends, give something back to the industry.

In my opinion this whole thread and that factually incorrect joke of a blog run by Aussie Dave, is nothing more than a complete attack on myself, my business, my charachter and not just me, but Bryan Bailey, Michael Corfman, Dominique and others.

People who have the balls to attend conferences, to actually engage our peers and try to strive to improve the industry we work in for the better.

I myself, host free of charge Affiliate Guard Dog, which I am sure the majority of members here and affiliate managers agree AGD provides a damn good service.

    What do you do?

You and your sidekick and the other numpty in your triangle ala AK, sit behind your keyboards and monitors, envious, jealous and coming up with conspiracies that aren't there.

I'm going to tell you some home truths. You want to know why your sites are not listed in DMOZ, pure and simple, THEY SUCK.

Do you want to know why you don't rank in google?

Because you alienate anyone who has the misfortune to come into contact with you, so you have no chance of networking and working on your offsite seo.

Same goes for snivelling Dave. Only a few months ago [description of a thread in the private forum areas removed]. This in addition to him years ago borrowing money off several people and then going MIA for a year or more!

Why is it important to point out your faults and your past transgressions? Because unsuspecting webmasters who have not had the misfortune to endure you all for years, might, just might believe the crap you write.

You are in short the lowest of the low.

You are all what is wrong with affiliates.

If you actually devoted your energies into building worthwhile sites and actually worked on your interpersonal skills, you might just might make something of your life.

Now I am requesting this thread gets closed. But kept in the public forums for all to see you all for what you are.

You have not posted any proof. Just repeated a lie. The only reason the meta community at DMOZ know about this thread is because I reported it to them.

Like I said earlier, I am an open book and disclose everything I do on DMOZ. I am damn proud of my work on the directory and also proud to be an editor.

Michael and myself have had disagreements in the past. But I tell you this now, at least what we say on a forum, we actually have the balls to say to each others face, in person.

For too long you have been tolerated to spout your crap and infect this industry. Same goes for Aussie Dave. Personally I think the GPWA would be much better off without you both.

This is my last post in this thread and I sincerely hope Michael closes it now.

I see a storm coming. And while Alex might be enjoying tea and biscuits reading this thread, I think we should let him save some of his biscuits for another thread.

Personally, I think this thread has run on long enough now, with little new of value being added. So, I believe it is correct to close it.

I will happily open it once again if someone has anything of particular merit that belongs in this thread (like a report back from time warner). Just send me a pm if that is the case.

In the meantime, new topics can be started in new threads if appropriate.

And, to be clear, nothing in this thread has made me particularly angry. Although certainly parts of it have made me shake my head in disbelief. There are definitely cases of real situations where dmoz editors have acted rogue. But webzcas, well, that's just silly in my opinion. And I am an editor and can see his editing record. I've seen his work on the inside of dmoz, and he is someone that folks here should be proud of in my opinion.
