    Default Fable Affiliates Closing

    Just received the following:

It’s with regret that I must give you notice of the planned closure of the Fable Affiliates program on 14th August 2019.

Prior to this, Fable Affiliates will cease to accept new players as of 1st June, giving you a little over two weeks from today to make the necessary changes to your sites, and to remove our links and banners.

Please rest assured that regular monthly commission payments will be continue to be made over the coming months. As per our T&Cs the last day counting towards commission will be 15th August 2019.

I will be in touch shortly with further details.

It does seem to be an increasing trend in the last year or two

The only way I could accept an affiliate program closing is if the casino/sports brand closed as well.

Indeed the trend is increasing, fraud companies using white labels of Nektan and ProgressPlay.. this is a fraud by all means.

Also all the migrations that Nektan are doing with all their sister companies are meant for one purpose - shaving your players !

Today I found out that 2 brands of Galaxy Affiliates are "temporary suspended" from the program
Another trick to shave your players. They launch new brand, the affiliate is adding it and after a while it's removed / migrated from their program and the y can have a fresh start without paying to anyone !

You are only looking at the situation from one point of view. Firstly often the casinos have nothing to do with the affiliate program. Secondly if you had some ****** white label with an affiliate platform like Galaxy, and you was constantly paying them money for nothing in return. Would you keep your ****** white label on Galaxy. Or would a time come when enough was enough?

    You are right.
As affiliate you need to know how to choose your partners before it's too late and you're losing your investments, stay away from companies that are doing too many changes

Me too and I got this reply:

    Hey,

Yes, the brands will stay live, but we'll no longer be running the affiliate program.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

But still, players keep op playing while financial obligations are not met anymore.

Not said that I do not understand the frustrations of casino owners that have chosen certain platforms to run their brand on or certain companies to run their affiliate program.

The best thing for affiliates is to avoid white labels that are running on platforms together with 100's of other white labels.

Correct, they keep playing and the program should keep paying for them rev-share.
So if the casino owners want to close the program, the right thing to do is to keep paying existing affiliates but stop accepting new partners.

But of course the right thing to do cost money and time so unfortunately the casino owners will never choose this path... still the outcome from this act is very bad for the affiliate that is losing everything and very good for the casino owners that now have free traffic and free active players that they simply "take" because they can right..

If you owned a white label with an affiliate program such as Galaxy. And you wanted to terminate your contract with Galaxy. Because you thought the 3k you pay then a month is not worth the £200 you get back every month -£2800. Then Galaxy would have nothing to do with your white label. They aren't going to keep processing data for your white label. As your white label would no longer have a contract with them. There is a lot more to these situations than a casino just doing the off.

It would make little sense for a small time white label to try and do the off on affiliates for financial gain. If the white label was in some kind of profit from the given affiliate program.

Generally you will find these small time white label casino "owners" are just took the **** out of. By the provider (Nektan / Progress Play) then by affiliate programs (Mediacle).

It is my firm belief that these white label programs have no interest in their casinos in the slightest. Their business model has nothing to do with casinos. Their business model revolves around collecting data from mugs (white label owners) who spend 100s of 1000s building a nice list for Nektan and co, on a piece of crap that Nektan would be happy to see ran into the ground, so they can than happily and legally take all their players and data.

Speaking of dodgy Nektan sites.. After moving some of the brands from Galaxy over to Nektan affiliates, The nektan affiliates company have now closed my account without warning.. and not replying to emails. Altough lucky for me the brands stopped converting since the move. But still very annoying, would have been good to be told so that my traffic didn't go to broken inactive links!

It's a shame, I guess that something never changed.
They sent this migration email with contacts of the affiliate managers and you say no one is replying you.. even that Nektan are big it's not surprising me I must say, after what I seen with Ladbrokes nothing can surprise me anymore

It isn't the UK brands as such it is some non-UK affiliate programs treating UK affiliates promoting the UK brands poorly. Yet they gladly accept UK players.

I just sweep them under the carpet and move on to other brands, then if a new affiliate manager comes asking for promoting again the answer is always no. I have been in this game 12 years now, businesses like that don't survive very well.

Has anyone heard what is happening with their brands? Are the brands closing or being transferred to other programs? Does not make sense to promote the brands if not being compensated.

And, what about Flip Affiliates (hxxp://flipaffiliates.com) which is under Fable Media's management?
