Hi ,

I recently joined GPWA (at this business too) and I would like to hear what u think about my site.

How do I improve my site's usability, accessibility and search engine optimisation.

Some feedback of the community would be nice.

My first thought is that the site is named Lord of the Rings.

The LOR name and artwork is on top and much more prominent that the true site name, and since I already know that isn't your site name to me that is a bit of a turn-off....

Not trying to be cruel, it's just a single opinion.

Usability wise, the site is fairly easy to navigate and find what the visitor is looking for.

I like the website, but I agree with the above posting.
The Lord of The Rings thing is kind of not appealing when you load the page.
Otherwise I think it looks good.

You are right.

My intention was to use a background to promote the programs.

But I will think a better way to not be so intrusive.


For now I remove it. See how it looks now.

I think it looks much better with it removed.
Just that change makes the site look much cleaner and easier on the eyes!

I don't think you should use the whole top text as a H4 tag, you're better off using H4 in menu titles or not at all.

You could also compress the raw code a bit and save some kb and use php redirects to avoid many of the 47 outgoing links you got.

Overall it's a nice looking site.

What CMS and template do you use?

I never got to see the lord of the rings problem that I read on the other posts, I'm guessing you removed them! I like your site, I like the cards on the background!
I think you site definitely looks good, cant complain!

The CMS is Joomla and the theme is Solarsentinel from roketheme.

I think I can compress the css and javascripts, because rokettheme have RokGZipper a plugin whose primary aim is to improve the performance and speed of the site. It does this by compressing CSS and JavaScript files.

I had a background image promoting "lord off the rings" slot game with a link. But it was too intrusive and changed all the look of site. I already changed it.

i think the site is professionally designed and easy to navigate. i guess u need to work on link building to get a better place in search results. i am working on this part as well. i have seen so many unprofessional sites ranking good for keywords, for which they dont even deserve.

The only other thing I'd say - is maybe think about collecting names for a newsletter list?

This would provide you with a database of interested players (via optin) to promote to off site and also give you an opportunity to do CPA deals to fund your site development via e-mail campaigns.

Hope it all works out and look forward to seeing the finished result, I'm sure you've had a load of great idea's thrown at you already

Bought 40 links from PR 6-9 websites from a Indian SEO company, but I was cheated...

Now I'm doing manually but its to hard... If you or someone can give some tips ...

Well.. There is no easy way.. Find good directories and do exchanges.
It WILL take time, and avoid indian seo companies unless you want bad links. Buying high PR links is almost always a scam.

Oh, that's another thing.. Get linked from the right neigbourhood and not link farms or porno.
