Geographical location flag - conversion

There have been several topics on the forum about geolocation, but more about how to do it, etc.

A lot of users on the forum from what I can see have partial geolocation. That is, not dynamic content etc But a simple country flag and a description if the casino/bookie accepts players from that country or not.

I'm wondering if, in your opinion, a basic flag-based geolocation has a big impact on conversions or not?

Theoretically you could just write next to the casino, but the flag-based, graphic option is more visible and probably many people won't read the text.
There is also the issue of a lot of VPN usage and incorrect data.
And many other factors.

Plenty of sites use themes with the flag/icon feature built in. They mostly come with an option to also include dynamic content, but I guess some webmasters don't bother with this and just prefer to use tables/grids to display their choice of casinos.
