    Default Google Gone Mad

I don't know what it is but Google is making my website PR 2 <which it was before> to PR 4 <what it should be now> and it keeps flipping and flipping back and forth. This has been going on for about a week or so. Has anyone elses websites been doing the same? Or is it a normal thing for Google to Flip Flop pages before the new update.

I believe that PR now stands for "public relations" , they are getting large numbers of threads across many boards as a result of this. This of course improves their page ranking with Google

Google implemented new anti-spam filtering in the last "florida" update.

Basically, if it decides your site is spammy for a certain search phrase it will remove you from that particular SERP.

You can see if you are being removed by searching for "keyword -nonsenseword", for example "poker -widget" without the quotes.

The more complicated search with the exclusion bypasses the new filtering.

Wayne Rosing, vice president of engineering at Google, said the change is part of the Silicon Valley-based company's efforts to provide high-quality search results.

"This particular change affected more people, but our testing shows there was a significant quality improvement for our users," said Rosing.
    Yeah, Right.
