    Thumbs down New FullTilt Terms

    Is this new? I visited the cashier today and was going to move my monthly pittance to my player account and the revised terms popped up, you MUST agree to them to cash out.

    Some "interesting terms here:

    1. TERM AND TERMINATION
      1. Termination By You. You may terminate this Agreement, with or without cause, immediately upon written notice to us. In addition, you may cease marketing the Website any time you want.
      2. Termination By Us. We may terminate this Agreement, with or without cause, upon thirty (30) days written notice to you. Further, we may terminate this Agreement immediately, without notice, upon the occurrence of any of the following events:
        1. You materially breach this Agreement;
        2. The total cumulative balance of Affiliate Commissions due to you is less than USD$50 for three (3) consecutive months;
        3. We determine, in our reasonable discretion, that you issued a Press Release in violation of Section 5.11 herein.
        4. We determine, in our reasonable discretion, that you knowingly benefited from Fraud Traffic as set forth in Section 2.12 herein;
        5. We determine, in our reasonable discretion, that you knowingly participated in Fraud Traffic, as set forth in Section 2.12 herein.
        6. The total number of new Players introduced by you in a sixty-day period is less than one;
        7. We determine that you have used Spam, Adware, or Spyware or have engaged in an unauthorized marketing technique as set forth in Section 5.2 herein.

      3. Effect of Termination. The following will apply upon the effective date of termination:
        1. You will cease all promotional activity related to us and all rights and licenses given to you under this Agreement will terminate immediately, except as expressly stated herein;
        2. You shall render permanently inoperative any URLs which were used or maintained by you where such URLs contain any combination of the words full, tilt, and poker.
        3. You will return all confidential information related to us and cease use of any of our trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, Banner Ads, Text Links and other materials related to the Website or designations of FullTiltPoker.com;
        4. We may leave open, redirect or deactivate any Trackers in our sole discretion without any obligation to pay you on new Players who come in or would have come in on those Trackers;
        5. In the event that your Player Account and or Affiliate account is closed for any reason, we reserve the right to extend the closure to all your activity related to the Website, including but not limited to withholding your Affiliate Commissions without prior notice. If any such closure occurs, we reserve the right to dispose of any remaining funds in your Player Account and or Affiliate account at our sole discretion. If we suspect Fraud Traffic, we may withhold payment of Affiliate Commissions for up to one hundred eighty (180) days, from the original due date, to ensure that the payment is correct and that any fraud has been reversed out.
        6. In the event that we determine, in our reasonable discretion, that you knowingly participated in Fraud Traffic, as set forth in Section 2.12 herein, you will forfeit all Affiliate Commissions that you have earned and we reserve the right to terminate this Agreement.

    I consider this rather predatory and have also noticed the amount of player fees has risen a great deal over this past year. It makes it very difficult to make any decent income (as a smaller affiliate) when they kill you with:

    • Player Marketing and Retention
    • Administrative Costs
    • Player Commission

    I have one player that had zero rake this month yet he/she has $0.81 in marketing and retention costs. ?????

    Guess it is time to give more exposure to affiliate friendly programs while decreasing exposure to the predatory programs. It is a shame such a huge poker room can be so unfriendly and unkind to those of us trying to make a dime.

    Shame on you Full Tilt!

    Yup, I guess it's time to revamp my home page and move FT off top spot. There are so few US friendly poker rooms left that are worth promoting it makes me sick.

    Well GFPC you will happy to know I moved 30 regular players away from Full Tilt. These players were suspicious of being being cheated and generally unhappy. All regulars for Full Tilt for the last 3 years.

    Thanks for highligting the shady things in the new T&C, i did see it in the backend, but did not read or accept, since i did not have time to find the "catch" !

    These new rules are very predatory, and i guess i will lose my affiliate account....

    They just keep making these predatory changes, when will they be listed on Belosers.com ? LOL

    These clowns deserve something similar to what is happening with Bwin....

    Agreed they do deserve a Belosers trashing!

    HEy if anyone wants to do a write up on all the predatory terms and issues harming affiliates that are pure factual I will apply it to belosers in a flash.

    I am working on trying to get something for the betfair issue...

    In my opinion,

    Betfair, Bwin, Full Tilt, Stars and several other rogues and predatories need to be applied there. Its so hard to keep up...

    Unless someone writes a historic and factual story for me to apply it may take some time.. LOL

    I think all big brands are out of their minds. I guess they simply don't need affiliates anymore, so they creating such a predatory terms to get rid of us.

    After reading this, I think I may be removing full tilt poker from my homepage.
    These terms are very predatory.

    Tilt will be very scarce on my sites as well. Not that I ever made much with them. It was nice to have a few bucks to dump to my player account though.

    I agree that they are actually trying to drive away affiliates. Well, the smaller ones at least. But... by driving us out, it will reduce income, a bunch of small affs can add up faster than they realize.

    But, I guess it is a "Who Cares" attitude with them. Besides, with all the ridiculous (and likely fake) charges, rev share is out the window.

    RIP fools!

    Well i am not sure i am the right person to write this, but i did spend a little time to write something down. I most likely missed something so if anyone feels like adding to the list of predatory terms introduced by fulltilt the last few years, then please do so !

    60 Day Rule:
    Beginning April 1st, 2008. Any player who waits longer than 60 days to make their first deposit will NOT be credited to any affiliate account.

    Player Points Removed From Stats:
    At some point In 2009 Player Points were removed from affiliate stats, and huge deductions followed.

    Deductions:
    In 2009 deductions also start to become bigger and bigger, and in 2010 it surely looks like theft (you can actually lose money by promoting Fulltilt).

    Max. 3% for rakeback affiliates:
    From March 1st 2010, rakeback affiliates will only get 3% commision. (3% is only for new players, NOT retroactive)

    Termination, December 2010:
    The total cumulative balance of Affiliate Commissions due to you must be more than USD$50 for three (3) consecutive months, or your affiliate account will be terminated.

    Affiliate account will be terminated if, the total number of new Players introduced by you in a sixty-day period is less than one.

    These new terms are very predatory and also retroactive, since you CAN lose previous players send to fulltilt years ago, which we did send on other T&C.

    CFPC, feel free to use anything from this post for Belosers.com !

    My error on the min payment amount, I tried it again and it went through for under $50. I will revise the original post to be correct. Everything else looks correct.

    LOL I was gonna start promoting FT until I read this, my personal opinion is that FT is rigged to death so many bad players get lucky, I personally got 2 or 3 outed 7 times in one day all for cash places sounds strange so I banned myself. I hate FT

    You are very welcome

    Sorry i canīt make the write up, but i am not a native english speaker. I would most likely miss something, and i canīt use all the fancy words, LOL.

    I really wish more affiliates would take the fight, if we do nothing, more rooms will follow, and there will be NO commisions left for us in the future.

    We need to give these predatory programs a big kick in the balls, and make them re-think their predatory strategy towards affiliates
