Well not exactly and I'm not complaining. I did have a laugh though, when I checked out my inbox!
16 identical GPWA Times sent 3 to 5 minutes apart.
I'm guessing a software malfunction.

You should see all the invites I've gotten from Facebook for various gambling parties (from Michael and someone else) So that isn't the only software malfunction of late!
Ya, when I checked my mail tonight I had 37 copies of the GPWA Times
36 X for me.... I do love reading the newsletters guys, but once is sufficient!![]()

RE Facebook - It isn't just Michael's invites - I think FB is finally f*&^ed I am getting multiple invites for groups and events all the bloody time even for ones I have already replied to - Actually starting to pi$$ me off so I wish they'd sort it
iGB Affiliate - The biggest magazine and events for affiliates in igaming
Pretty unloved here too - I only got 10

I am obviously an outcaste! Got only ONE!!!
I believe this little wrinkle has been ironed out!
Apologies to the full inboxes (and the ones who only got one lol).

Well, yes, some egg on our face here. Please accept my apologies.
For the techies among you, here is what happened.
When we send out an e-mail message we record who it was sent to and when. That way if the sending process fails it can be restarted, and for each e-mail we attempt to send out we first verify that it has not already been sent to that e-mail address.
This past week we made some changes to the e-mail process and one unintended side effect was that a extra character was appended to the list of e-mail addresses to which the newsletter had already been sent.
Entirely separately from this, there was a problem with the e-mail process which caused it to fail multiple times. Normally this would not have been an issue, but in combination with the error in remembering who had already been mailed, the failure recovery process resulted in duplicate emails being sent.
We've fixed the problem that caused us not to detect the duplicate email messages before they were sent, so that should not happen in the future even in the case of failures.
And we're investigating why the GPWA Times email process failed in the first place and needed to be restarted so many times last night.
Anyway, again, my apologies for sending multiple copies to a number of you, and also my apologies for not sending more copies to those of you who measure your perceived value by the number of duplicate email messages you receive from us.
