    Smile Increase PR

    Hi, Good day to all..

I have a few old gambling sites that needs the PR to be increased. The sites are:

    http://www.california-casinos.org
    http://www.thebest-online-casinos.com/
    http://www.playtexasholdempoker.org/
    http://www.online-blackjack-info.com/
    http://www.onlinerouletteinfo.com/

Can anyone help me with this? And what will be the cost involved?

    Thanks,
    Anticlock.

To increase Page Rank, do link building, Directory submission, social bookmarking, article or any strategy to spread the site link.

Basically, the things suggested can give PR juices to the sites mentioned, most especially if the links acquired from the activity were all followed. However, it may take time before you can observe your site's real PR.

Referring to a lot of forum discussions relating to increasing PR, most of the responses points to the following.
    - PR update is observed to be happening in a quarterly manner.
    - PR indicator (PR toolbar and other PR checker tools which are dependent to the PR toolbar) may not really represent the most recent PR a page has.
    - dofollow link building can guarantee an increase in PR after every update.
    - nofollow links acquired from link building activities won't contribute to this need.

In additional to what were mentioned, dofollow reciprocal linking can also help.

Increasing PR does NOT always translate to increasing search engine positioning.

Many seo folks and link sellers do not want you to know or understand the difference.

I agree with you, why we should concentrate to increase the PR of a website if we prioritize to increase the search engine rankings and traffic. PR is useless if no search engine ranking and no traffic.

I think it depends on where exactly you are standing at. As far as my understanding is concern, website flippers care more about PR as it is one of the factors that would make a site or domain sell high apart from backlinks and rankings. And same things goes with publishers selling links. As with a business selling stuffs online, traffic and conversion is a lot more necessary than PR.

    Hi all,
I´m in a similar situation, I want more PR. My question is, I know a guy that assure you a PR4 in 3-4 months for like $400 dollars. I believe him, he doesn´t say me how is gonna do it, but I know he has like 20 sites in the same lenguage as mine and he is gonna do link building with them.

My question is: After that time (4 months) when you get a PR4, what should you do? Because you will be out of these sites, your PR will not be magically PR4 for the rest of your life. So, after that investment, I think the right way is making link building without paying with sites with the same PR or not? Or what you should do next?

    Thanks for any suggest

    Nico and anyone else interested,

If the pr is increased with links only it may or may not hold.

Also, if the pr is increased with links from unrelated sites, the higher pr will likely not bring you traffic that will convert and may actually hurt the serps in the end.

I am much more happy with the lower pr sites I have that get traffic than with those pages with higher pr that just don't seem to get the traffic I think they should.

I am starting to realize any links under PR6 show little weighed! IMO if you get PR6 and above you will do better in serps then having 10 Pr3s.

I think google is onto this link stuff pretty good and this is why we have seen no update in like 7 months now!

I also think its important to look at backlink profiles. Anything under 100K will help but not significantly.

everything will come down to a radius based solution, not sure why its taking so long.. PR means nothing, never has. I have pr7 sites with no terms and pr0 with top rated keyword terms.. Its a promotional tool and it works well

i think high PR is not a guarentee for top ranking in search engine. so why bother for higher PR.

Then do some optimizations and promotions. Social media are also a great way of promoting a site. Very effective, as a matter of fact, SEO is more likely to be gone someday and SMO will take place in the future.

Producing more relevant links with PageRanks and are DoFollow is something I basically say on this kind of questions. But nowadays you can gain PR by producing something useful for your visitors. That may be an article, widgets, etc.

Higher PR doesn't mean a high conversion. So, why do you need to boost the PR of your site? What matters in a site now is the conversion -- High SERP Ranking for good traffic. What will you do in a high PR site if it doesn't have traffic? Moreover, PR is not updated so why care about that?

I agree start with your onpage optimization. Write good content and after this run offpage - submitions, socials, articles etc...
