    Default Khan Vs Hatton

    Hei Guys

I think we need a psorts section on this forum.

Anyway after Khan spanked another miss matched fighter at the weekend he is now talking about fighting Hatton.

I am guessing this is comming from his training with Manny Pacquiao, do you think during lunch maybe Manny turned round to can and said " I think you could kick his ass" and from that Khan thought bring it on......

In my mind Khan is a sick fighter with huge talent and an amazing future he is putting boxing on the map for England but and this is a very big but Ricky Hatton come on its not happening Ricky would destroy him.

Ricky is a strong solid fighter okay his fight against manny he looked like a pussy but Khan is not in that leauge yet.

    What are your thoughts?

    Thanks

    Shaun

I think Khan has huge potential but this early in his career, Hatton would take him apart.

He has the punching power & experience Khan doesn't have.

I think that Khan taking on Hatton would be detrimental to his career and development though.

Regarding Fatton, forget the Mayweather fight, no-one can touch Mayweather - he's 100% the best pound for pound boxer in the world.

You could I guess look at it this way but I wouldn't advise it.

That is let the fight go ahead.

Ricky earns a retirement purse after giving Amir a fekin good hiding which in turn stops the obviously talented Khan going down the "Im Invicible" Prince Nasim Hamed road.

Or the sensible route is ti keep the young boy away from Ricky or he will get seriously hurt and maybe end his career.

I agree Ricky will batter him and I think it coul dbe just what he needs....

I think it would be a huge pay day for Ricky and a cracking exit.

Hatton is shot. The fact that he walking around at near Cruiserweight level 14st 4 lb at the moment, also proves that it would take him a good 6 months to get down to the 10stone limit for light welter.

That said, Khan is still very inexperienced and I believe that even a shot Hatton would rough Khan up and knock him out.

This fight is too early for Khan IMO. However I think Hatton should retire. It is doubtful this fight would come off for a number of reasons.

Frank Warren being one of them. He would not want to give Hatton another payday, after Hatton left him after the Kostya Tzu fight.

Another thing about Khan worth noting is that Salita was ranked in the 60's by boxing rec, and had never fought anyone of any note - his undefeated record prior to Khan being made up of journeymen.

Khan has been very very protected so far and as soon as he meets someone with world class, he will come unstuck. The best bet for him would be to have a few more fights against picked opponents and then move onto the world class fighters in 2011. By then his experience with Roach will be paying big dividends.

Talking about Boxing. I would love to see David Haye fight James Toney.

Whilst Toney is a massively overweight middle weight, the press conference alone would be good viewing. The two biggest trash talkers in the game.

Would have to agree that Hatton has seen his best days. As for as Khan, he just doesn't cut the mustard for me and I have to laugh at some of the pr coming out of his camp. Give me a Carl Froch fight any day of the week. That guy has some real heart.

Hatton is a busted flush, he is finished and Khan will humiliate him.

Next i will hear that Tyson will come back and beat Hayes or Klistchkoff or whatever those brothers names are.

Khan is now, Hatton is the past
