    Hello Leopold, Ocreditor and friends,

    How are you all doing?

I just want to share a science story with you guys for a change. Here it is and I hope you like it. Thank you and enjoy!

SpaceX just launched its biggest rocket for the first time

It’s another record for SpaceX. At 3:50 p.m. Eastern on February 6, the private spaceflight company launched the Falcon Heavy rocket for the first time.

The Heavy — essentially three SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket boosters strapped together — is the most powerful rocket launched since the Saturn V, which shot astronauts to the moon during the Apollo program. SpaceX hopes to use the Heavy to send humans into space and eventually to Mars.

Another first for this launch: the safe return of the three boosters. (As of 4 p.m., two boosters had safely returned to Cape Canaveral; the status of the third, scheduled to land on a droneship, wasn’t known.) Part of SpaceX’s program is to reuse rockets, which brings down the cost of space launches. The company has successfully landed the cores of its Falcon 9 rockets 21 times and reflew a rocket six times. The company landed a previously used rocket for the first time in March.

But the cargo for today’s launch is aimed at another planet. The rocket carried SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s red Tesla Roadster with “Space Oddity” by David Bowie playing on the stereo. It is now heading toward Mars.

“I love the thought of a car drifting apparently endlessly through space and perhaps being discovered by an alien race millions of years in the future,” Musk tweeted in December.

By pure coincidence I saw that rocket launching live, beginning with the last 30 seconds of the countdown. Hundreds of thousands of people watched the launch outside all over Florida, and the Space X crowd was cheering as if they had won the Super Bowl.

It is really amazing to see the improvements. Wernher von Braun, who brought mankind with his rocket to the Moon, would be very proud on the work of his successors.

    "Hey Klingons, we are coming!"

    Hello Leopold and good friends,

So, I want to share another interesting news article with you yet again. It concerns Google.

Uber v Google: Self-drive tech clash heads to court

A trial pitting two of the biggest players in self-drive technology against each other has begun in San Francisco.

Ride-sharing firm Uber is being sued by Waymo, the self-driving company spun out of Google.
Uber is accused of stealing and using trade secrets relating to Lidar (light detection and ranging) - one of the technologies that enables an autonomous car to understand what is happening around it.
Waymo is making its case first, and then it will be up to Uber to defend itself.
Emails already shown in court detailed Uber's ex-chief executive Travis Kalanick demanding "pounds of flesh" from Waymo, while others are said to involve him saying he wanted to "find the cheat codes".

Waymo's legal team has compared Mr Kalanick to Rosie Ruiz, a runner who cheated in the 1980 New York Marathon by taking the subway.
Uber will likely begin its defence next week. It is expected the company will not dispute document theft, but instead attempt to convince the jury it did not use the information in its self-drive experiments.

You can continue reading about it through the following link:

I hope you like this story. Thanks a lot.

Countless insults, also against me, are online here on the forum and were never removed. I have no problem with that as long as there is no double standard or worst.

After a satire about Buffalo, was removed here weeks before the termination to protect Buffalo, he now censored directly here in my diary a screenshot about a satire about Fernanda and AffPower. If he can, he would also censor my Twitter account obviously. Thank Goodness, this is possible.

Yes, you have no eye-defect. A satire about AffPower was removed which is nothing else than protecting the worst criminals in the whole industry. Imagine that!

I make no secret about, that I tweeted twice about that today.

Removing a satire to protect Fernanda, but let countless insults on prison level online ...

    A great performance!

    Thank you very much, Eissa.
After my diary was touched, I am only here now for 30 seconds online today.
No time for anyhting, not for reading any probably angry PMs or whatsoever.
    Just fun.

    You want new tweets, Eissa.
    You'll get new tweets.
Everything you need, also satire, that is now even in this former safe place here no longer allowed.

About AffP****, Fer*****, GPWA, Income Access, Betway, Buffalo, AffAlliance, Rewards Affiliates, LAC itself and perhaps more.

I already started with one tweet some minutes ago.

    Hello Leopold and gang,

I hope you're enjoying your time down at LAC2018?

I'm still enjoying your fantastic tweets. Please keep them coming.

Here is another interesting news article. It concerns YouTube this time.

YouTube details how it will punish creators for ‘harming’ the community

Creator Logan Paul continues to push the Google-owned video site to draft new guidelines and rules around controversial behavior

YouTube this afternoon detailed new policy changes going into effect after the latest controversy featuring YouTube creator Logan Paul, who had advertising temporarily suspended on his account today over videos featuring the abuse of dead animals. YouTube has been reportedly working on these policy guidelines since the start of the year, as CEO Susan Wojcicki said earlier this month that one of her company’s goals in 2018 was to create clear policies to punish creators who do “something egregious that causes significant harm” to the community at large.
The changes are straightforward: YouTube says it reserves the right to strip a channel of its ability to serve ads and its access to premium monetization programs like Google Preferred and its YouTube Partner Program, as well as the right to cease recommending a channel’s videos across its network, if that channel proves harmful to the broader YouTube community. YouTube describes its community as including “advertisers, the media industry, and most importantly, the general public.” It’s not clear what exactly fits the definition of harmful in these cases, but it seems as if YouTube will take cues from both the greater YouTube community and the general public. More bluntly, YouTube.

The Google-owned video site has always held these powers over channel owners as a platform-owning tech company. However, YouTube
hasbeen relatively hands off over the years as it’s ballooned into one of the largest media destinations on the internet, largely in part thanks to the symbiotic relationship it has with creators, who share in YouTube’s ad revenues. The company’s longstanding approach — combined with recent sea changes in public sentiment toward Silicon Valley and its responsibility to police its platforms — has resulted in a reckoning.

Offensive and immature creators like Paul, and to a lesser extent YouTuber Felix “Pewdiepie” Kjellberg, are now forcing the company to make tough decisions on what types of content and off-site and on-video
behaviors it deems unacceptable. These new changes introduced today more transparently codify YouTube’s newer, more strict approach againstbehavior the company feels harms its reputation and makes all of YouTube look lazily unregulated.

“We’ve long had a set of community guidelines that act as rules of the road for what creators can share on our platform and a set of ad-friendly guidelines for what they can monetize. We also have a system of strikes we use to enforce those guidelines which can ultimately result in a channel’s termination,” writes Ariel Bardin, YouTube’s vice president of product management, in a blog post. “But in very rare instances, we need a broader set of tools at our disposal that can be used more quickly and effectively than the current system of guidelines and strikes.”
In no uncertain terms, Bardin describes — without ever naming Paul — the damage that can be dealt by having large, immensely popular channels acting without any regard for the consequences. “When one creator does something particularly blatant — like conducts a heinous prank where people are traumatized, promotes violence or hate toward a group, demonstrates cruelty, or sensationalizes the pain of others in an attempt to gain views or subscribers — it can cause lasting damage to the community, including viewers, creators and the outside world,” Bardin writes, referencing how channel-owners like Paul have millions of fans, many of whom are impressionable young children.
“That damage can have real-world consequences not only to users, but also to other creators, leading to missed creative opportunities, lost revenue and serious harm to your livelihoods,” she adds. “That’s why it’s critical to ensure that the actions of a few don’t impact the 99.9 percent of you who use your channels to connect with your fans or build thriving businesses.”

Paul only recently returned to the platform in late January after a brief pause on his daily vlogging after a separate controversy involving his filming of a suicide victim in Japan’s Aokigahara forest, which sparked international outrage. Paul, it seems, did not learn much from the controversy, despite a suicide awareness video he made to reassure critics he understood the gravity of his actions, as his return has resulted in nothing but bad headlines and a continued pattern of behavior YouTube this morning called “potentially damaging” to the broader community and “unsuitable” for advertisers.” His latest mistake was to film himself tasering a dead rat repeatedly seemingly only for shock value.
“In the past, we felt our responses to some of these situations were slow and didn’t always address our broader community’s concerns. Our ultimate goal here is to streamline our response so we can make better, faster decisions and communicate them clearly,” Bardin concludes. “We believe strongly in the freedom of expression and we know that the overwhelming majority of you follow the guidelines and understand that you’re part of a large, influential, and interconnected community. But we also know that we have a responsibility to protect the entire community of creators, viewers, and advertisers from these rare but often damaging situations. We expect to issue these new consequences only in a rare handful of egregious cases, but hope they will help us prevent the actions of a few from harming the broader community.”

    I need stories, scandals, whatsoever.
    Satire need food.
However, next time I will push Elaine a little bit more.
That many people will find the way to her beauty salon at the conference.
Fernanda will also return in my tweets.
    More than ever before.

For sure Alex has numbers that are proving totally the opposite, but in my perception interest for this kind of events is declining. I think there are simply too much of these events and some of them are really close to each other. Also, I think we will see less and less the .com domain that is servicing each and every country, but brands will cherry pick their markets.

And then, if you focus for example on Spain and Italy, it doesn't make too much sense to have a big booth here or come with your complete delegation. The usual suspects have the biggest booths and of course a lot of quite new brands that need the attention in the beginning. Some of them folding quite fast, like for example Larry Casino.

I didn't see Fernanda. It seems that she's not attending anymore. However, I've seen employees of them. UKGC bothered about the dress of some girls, but not about people with a Buffalo shirt scanning the badges.

I think I was a record low time on the floor this time. It's better to meet people elsewhere. At the floor it's all very "the more appointments an AM has, the better will be his Q1 evaluation"-driven. I've even missed some booths completely. I've seen here that Lapalinga a booth. I am a bit disappointed that I've missed. Would love to have seen if their representative here is a human person or a wishy-washy marketing text producing bot.

Also, I wasn't in the official hotel. Sheraton Berlin as an exception, it usually aren't the best hotels. I've heard quite some people complaining about Guoman Tower Hotel (or whatever might be the name of this hotel). I had seen enough when I looked the pictures at Booking.com. It seems to be a 5-star high prices 3 star hotel with a star too much.

However, great conference and great to see everybody.
