Each of the sites listed are nothing but one page link farms. There are no active affiliate links on them. It amazes me that people can be duped into trading links with scammers such as this.

Terry, I'm not sure what you looked at, but I looked at all 4 sites from the email and they are not one page only sites....

You're right Rick - they 4 or 5 pages of gibberish. The links are all pointing to sites other niches or to the casinos themselves (with no aff tags).

The exception to the above is the paragraph or two where they crammed in all the links to the sites they managed to exchange with.

My point is - these sites are only set up for the purpose of link spam, they will never be real portals.

Received the same email to OCG over night, from the same person 'Hana'. I have received several from another person named 'Nick', I eventually told Nick to get stuffed and he hadn't emailed me for a while, but alas, 2 days ago, there he was again.

Ok this must be a joke. I just responded to "Hana" with -

    "Hi Hana,

We've never had a three-way link exchange, and never would I exchange links
with such sites. Apparently people in the casino industry have already asked
you to remove them from any mailing list or contact list you have but you
haven't listened and persist with the emailing.

Please do not contact any of the following sites ever again in the future,
as these are sites I own -

    Chris"

5 minutes later, I get an RE: from Hana -

    "Hello,

Thanks for the reply. dear would you link to do link exchange with me.

    Regards
    Hana"

... Are you frikkin serious?! Ugh..

I recall there being someone here who had a great way of dealing with these numpty's. Basically involved clogging their inbox with so much junk that they ceased being a problem.

    Angry

I'm getting about 10 e-mails with offers like this per day. Some idiots offering to exchange links with expired domains (not-relataed to gambling, but with gambling content). What a scam...

Some offering 3-way exchange, than, after 3-4 days removing my link.

Yep, I get these ALL the time as well, and its blatantly obvious because the domain has absolutely nothing to do with gambling. Then the site is about 5 pages, with each page containing an odd 50+ external links.

The toolbar PR on these sites varies from like 2 - 5, and they demand same PR back?! What a joke. I emailed a few of them a while ago and said "those sites offer nothing, if you have genuine quality sites that you can offer links back from then I'll be happy to take a look."

Instead, I get no response, and a week later they email me again offering a 'three way link exchange' with the same sites they emailed me last week.....

I get loads from some idiots who do the same, thugcasino is one site on top of my head. infact i get the same emails from different people working for the same link building firm (i call them that very loosely). I found threatening them with reporting them to google for spam gets rid
