So it seems I've attracted a fan in lotsO, he's been sending me some pretty detailed and unsolicited PM's over the last few days so I thought I'd share them here so you all know what kind of a guy he actually is. A sample of the kind of things he's said to me....

"what a bunch of ******* thieves." Talking about AE after he read his stats wrong.

"Your either a thief or your incompetent... " I guess he means me?

"Astalavista ************" My old English teacher would have a field day with this.

"If you believe in god, I hear you jews are big on that, personally I don't, but if you do.... one day you should tell me how much you stole from me... so you don't go to Hell, I hear it's not a very nice place." For the record, nothing was stolen from him but it seems he feels it was? Trying to think if I borrowed his lawnmower?

"You broadcast where your going to be at... you don't know what I look like... but I know what you look like.
Now I have a lot time on my hands.... I will be seeing you.... long before you see me." Sounds like a threat to me. I guess that's a meeting I don't have to pencil in my schedule on a conference.

The threat of physical violence show Brad (lotsO) in a very poor light in my opinion. Sometimes people don't get on for whatever reason and in the vast majority of cases this can be swept under the carpet and we can move on. It seems in this case, Brad never raised anything with me until the day he announced he's sold out and has harboured some kind of hate towards me before offering the threat via PM.

So I guess if anything does every happen to me, please can someone point the feds in the direction of Brad B. from Idaho for me? His full address can be found in our affiliate program - full details have been saved and can be retrieved by any member of management here.

I just thought I would share this so people can see what he's like and to show what affiliate managers have to put up with in the day to day running of an affiliate program. I understand that that business is business and this is what puts a roof over your head but sometimes things are said that just cross the line.

I take a relaxed approach to my work but I take it seriously amid all the jokes. No one should have to put up with crap like this from anyone. If this was the other way around and it was me saying this then it would be called out in a forum and I would be dragged through the mud.

Just thought I would share, thanks for reading but if this is how I am thought of and how our business is thought of then i should reconsider my position.

Seriously, lines were obviously well and truly crossed. The threat of violence is unpleasant and well, not legal, but I wouldn't worry about one rogue affiliate.

LOL, I had something similar in the past from the same poster but I called it on, told him to let me know next time he was in the UK, also went actively looking for him at LAC, but nothing lol

I wanted to chime in here, before there is an issue. Everyone has their differences in one way or another, granted some get way out of line, as Martyn has shown.

Let's not turn a farewell thread into an opportunity for further conflict.

I hear you.. happens a lot. Threats, emotional black mail. And no matter what you say, and if you're like me - you're not going to bullsh*t them, its not good enough. Some people believe in conspiracies, and don't like getting their way.

I wanted to chime in. I know I am not supposed to but it got posted and I need to clear this off my chest. This actually has nothing to do with Lots-O as we only just meet, I don't judge people on what I don't know for sure for myself or w/e, not important...

I am guilty of being mean to Martyn,

I sort of got drunk, looked at my stats while they were re-populating at the very end of a month, and yelled at Martyn. I apologized and still owe him a beer... but now I feel ten times worse I accused him of taking a bonus out of my account... man too much beer and work when you are passionate about what you do is not a good combo and I learned my lesson.

Threats are never acceptable unless it's "I am going to drop your program" or "I am going to cry on the forums" and any real business man/women would agree. Of course I did not threaten anyone, but this pulled an emotional heartstring and I needed to clear the air and admit to my mistake awhile ago. I am not saying anything else other than just that.

I have created a bunch of enemies in this business because I have spoken my mind and tried to expose some of the corruption that goes on in this business.

The more danger, the more honor.

I don't know any other business, where you can see more crocodile tears, blind obedience, false cognates and money-mad people then in the gambling industry.

The funniest thing...

Many can't handle the truth.

And...

Reading a good book, listen to classic music, meet persons with savant syndrome, become one with nature, all these great things will go into darkness if money only misgoverned life.

You can't buy real love with money, and the death is not corruptible.

Without collective self-adulation life is not so easy but honest.

Empathy is the most important thing for all of us. It's a wonderful gift. Money can destroy it, and if this happened, then there is no return.

AE-Martyn , that probably could of been handled a little more professionally. Especially with the generally decent reputation you guys have.

I've had similar issues with people (and even family) over the years in email...but I just leave it at that.

Leaking programs are beginning to be quite an issue lately as well. Where webmasters will bust their b@lls to get revshare signups....only for affiliate programs to send out new signup links to customers in email, wiping out the initial tracking those webmasters had. (regarding newer programs mostly)

I personally think ReferBack has been one of the most honest programs over the years. Great / honest people and personalities in general.
