    Hi Everyone,
The below email received few days ago.
Make sure to check if your commission is paid and that you remove this brand from your site because this brand is going down !

    Dear Partner

Please rest assured that we are in constant contact with Income Access to ensure that all Statistics are up to date, all players and affiliates are paid their earnings, prior to the closure of the site on 31 May 2015.

The site is still up in the air but unable to be played on, nor have we been excepting player deposits since the above mentioned date.

We would ask that any inventory dedicated to MB24.com on your sites be removed.

We apologise to you and thank you for your support

    Best wishes

get in touch with activewins, I know they get a rough ride on here sometimes but Natalie is top draw and as honest as they come so she'll fix it for you if she can

on another note just goes to show how much it's hitting firms that don't/can't get a uk licence

I never bothered promoting Mobibet, I remember Active Wins setting me up on there but I had a tour round the Mobibet site and thought it was garbage - from signup through to the actual site it was poorly designed. Glad I didn't bother now.

Mobibet always seeme a bit dodgy to me, as did ActiveWins who somehow did us out of several thousand dollars of earnings under BetFred with "fraud" chargebacks that didn't look quite valid.
    https://www.gpwa.org/forum/activewin...ks-216126.html

It is highly annoying, even though we didn't ever promote the program, that mobibet.com not auto-redirects you to 10bet.com with an affiliate tracking ID!!!!! For us, if we hadn't lost all trust in ActiveWins already, this means that we will never work with these guys again. It also means that as of tomorrow we'll be removing all 10Bet.com links from our sites, albeit we had reduced our exposure to these guys recently after suspecting that we were not earning the revenues we should have done.

We'll see it again and again in the future, but this looks like a classic case of a company buying out another company, and yet again affiliates being screwed over.

Remember BlueSquare going to Betfair - similar stuff - player accounts transferred to the new owner and affiliates left scratching around with no comeback.

I would suggest anyone affected by this Mobibet move takes a serious look at whether they can now trust any ActiveWins programs, including BetFred.

If anyone is interested too, I believe there is quite a "business" connection between ActiveWins, Europartners, and the owners of 10bet down in Israel too. Hate to say it, but it's again another example of the fraud coming out of this region and the reason why a lot of affiliates have a policy of not working with programs based here - see historical issues with William Hill, Europartners, Ladbrokes, 888, etc etc the list goes on.

Write it off, and if they don't pay you make sure that their brand is damaged to the value of $8789! Companies that rip off affiliates need to learn that if they do so without paying what is due then they will lose future business through bad reputation. We've seen this a number of times in the past - brands today that struggle to survive and recruit affiliates because they previously damaged their own reputations (yet you still get emails from these guys saying "but, that was the old management team, before my time")

You'll probably get paid, but what you really should be worried about is all of your lost referrals that are now going to end up with some other sportsbook - it looks like it's 10bet.com from the mb24.com homepage as there's a blatant Income Access affiliate link from the mb24 page straight to 10bet.

If you still have links to mb24 on your website you're just sending 10bet traffic for free, and your historical referrals to mb24 are unlikely to be transferred across to the new owners, more than likely 10Bet in this case.

This scenario has happened all too often in the past whereby operators shut down or are bought out, and tens of thousands of affiliate referred user accounts referred by affiliates are effectively stolen by a new operator.

From the sounds of it, given the amount of money you're owed, I suspect you have several hundred active referrals at mb24 on what was promised a "lifetime revenue share", yet you're about to see them go to someone else and you probably won't get any compensation for it.

If you're earning almost $9000 per month with mb24, you've just potentially lost more than $100,000 per year in earnings.

It does look like mb24 are just redirecting UK IP addresses to 10bet.com at the moment via this page
    http://www.mb24.com/block-uk/

The affiliate btag link to 10bet is this one:
    a_27267b_1467

I've done a bit of digging, but I can't find anywhere else this btag is associated with. Perhaps it's even ActiveWins making a little money out of affiliate referrals!?

So, MB24 may still be operating for rest of world, and you may well get commissions paid ongoing, but without UK people, who will probably be wiped off your stats as they are transferred to 10Bet or whoever else. Normally what happens is an email goes out to those people telling them that they can no longer bet with MB24 and to go to another sportsbook. Unless you registered under your own affiliate link (and are based in the UK), or know someone who did, then you won't see this cross selling email.

Either way, for any savvy affiliate this surely destroys any reputation MB24/Mobibet and even ActiveWins had if this sort of thing is going to go on.

superfun, please do share your experience going forward and let us know if you got paid, and what happens to your affiliate account. I would certainly be pursuing my UK referrals if I were you, asking for some sort of compensation for the lifetime revenue share promised, or to have them tagged on your 10Bet account. Take an extract of all affiliate data that you can right now too, so that if you need to challenge it in court and make a claim then you have adequate data.

Don't know what's going to happen, if you're not in the UK the likelihood is that MB24 may continue to operate because it appears to be a UK licencing issue. I'd probably withdraw my money as fast as I could in your situation and go with a better bookie (not 10bet!)

It's hard to tell. If the company has gone bankrupt and is in administration then it's up to the administrators to settle who is owed what, and customers usually come last in this scenario under the law.

If it's just MB24 pulling out of the UK and continuing to operate there would be no reason why you wouldn't be paid out. As we've seen with 666bet recently though (owners were trying to leave the UK and were arrested for some sort of fraud), as soon as an operator cannot operate, as in 666bet's case, all of their payment suppliers immediately ended their contracts with them, so they didn't have any technical means to pay anyone, but I believe still will.

It may just take time to get settled. I would definitely not leave this sort of amount of money in most bookmaker accounts, certainly not small-fry ones like MB24. Unlike the UK banks, there isn't much in the way of a deposit guarantee on your funds sitting in these sort of operators.

You get a lot of nice individuals at even the most unscrupulous operators. Some I even go for a regular beer with when they're out and about in London, but it still doesn't mean I'll advertise their company.

As with this case, the people may be helpful, but the evidence is right there to see for affiliates - they're not getting a UK licence so what do they do? - put an affiliate link and redirect straight to 10bet. That's not really fair to affiliates and not affiliate friendly.

Maybe you can try asking this guy - info@mb24.com from MB24.com Affiliate and Operations team

He replied me when I asked him about the brand close this:

"mobibet.com went out of the air in October 2014. mb24.com will go down at the end of May 2015. It was an investors decision after the closure of the UK market "

One of the reasons I don't promote companies that are new (which is what I told my AM from activewins when I got a phone call asking me to promote them). Companies need to be established with a good reputation among affiliates (that last bit rules out most of them) and they need to do some very serious advertising in the UK (to show their commitment to the market I face). It is bad enough coping with all the problems from so called safe / established companies without inviting trouble.

Very true. The UK market is very competitive and without strong brand awareness you have a cat's chance in hell of doing well by promoting a small company.

I remember having a conversation with 12bet and 138bet - even though they sponsored UK football teams they still had Chinese writing on their branding, which stood no chance of attracting UK players (apart from Chinese people living in the UK)
