    Hi Raphnix,

Really great start-it looks like you've put in a lot of work with regards to content and how you want your site to look. I have a couple of suggestions as well:

    1. I would move the advertisement section to the right of the main content, rather than on the left. The human eye (in most cultures) reads left to right. By sticking something flashy to the left of the content, my eye gets caught on the ad and you lose me before I read what you have to say. Putting the ad to the right will make sure the viewer reads and then sees your ad.

    2. The article about texas holdem appears under the casino games category. I would move this to the poker category and create a new casino article-maybe roulette, blackjack, slots?

    Good work so far!

    Tanya

To be honest there was a little too much yellow for me. I found the logo itself to look cheap and not much thought put into it. I think what you have to do is ask yourself this ( I made the same mistake ) if you went to that site how long would you stay there? Not a whole lot. Im sure this will change as it grows. But other than the two points I mentioned I believe its a good start as well. Be sure to give credit to any templates you use if required.

    Hi there

Overall a good first draft - I'm sure you will find some really great resources here on the forum but I'd like to suggest that you also subscribe to IGB Affiliate magazine, it's free for affiliates and packed with information and useful resources for newbies... This month I read a really interesting article about "heat mapping" pg 25 which follows on from Tanya's comments about how the human eye reads a website - which will help you optimise the site layout and design.

I'd suggest maybe linking to some more content on the site as well. Things like Casino reviews, or Games reviews, or News about what new Slots or Poker tournaments are taking place. You can link this to your blog and then in turn to Twitter etc. to generate new traffic to the site.

You may want to make use of other banner size formats (MPU, leaderboard , Skyscrapers etc.) plus you should also start to collect newsletter opt ins - as that will give you another channel to promote on *e-mail...

Yellow is not generally a good colour for internet marketing (but that's just a personal thing) might want to re-think the scheme a bit more...too gaudy can sometimes be untrustworthy in the eye of hte beholder or not as serious as you would want to portray your information.

With a bit of fine tuning though - it has loads of potential so do keep at it!
    Best of luck!

First - why did you remove the credit links? This is a free template (which is obv I must add)

    http://wptheme.net/online-casino-template-667/

I think the header looks very cheap which also gave away the free template you used.

The banners are distracting and I can't read the actual page because I'm blinded by flashing ads that say click me, click me. please for the love of god just click me.

You don't need banners to convert players. Nice graphics and good CTA's.

I see poker and bingo on the homepage. Your domain is pokercasinonow but you don't have any information about casinos.

Since you removed the credit links (which also means you are aware of linking out to people which means the removal was intentional) I ran a copyscape

    http://copyscape.com/?q=http%3A%2F%2...sinonow.com%2F

    http://copyscape.com/?q=http%3A%2F%2...poker-games%2F

So I'll stop here - it's obv you took a free template, added some banners and pasted articles from wiki and called it a day. I hope you didn't hurt yourself too much in the process.

When you have a real site, come back and I will give you some honest feedback to help you.

Wow, thank you really for the blunt advice but this website is only a draft and that those articles I posted are the ones I already posted from a free blogsite in my signature links. I only use them temporarily as I work on for my CMS since I just registered the domain this month and I want it to propagate at least by the title tags, my domain and the keywords I want to target in the future.

I work as an SEO so I know about copyrights and other duplicate issues but those articles were just some low quality ones bought from some freelance article writers so I know it should have some flaws on copying definitions and stuffs from other websites.

As for the free template credits, it's a common mistake I do sometimes since I'm seldom not happy about the too many links and ads they put on the credits line encrypted in the footer.

My only point is to learn other webmasters possible good suggestions for my website's further development and some comments I can ponder about like some of the things you said.

It's a new website so I want it to propagate as I work on for it's final CMS. I also appreciate your critics as you surely spent a lot of time researching it.

    Thank you,

    raphnix

My original post was quite sarcastic which wont help you

Here's the gist of it - your reply was full of excuses. Nothing else.

Do you want to make money with your site? If so, stop making excuses and get off your ass and work hard on it.

If you don't want to make any money with it, and want to be back here in 6 mths asking why its not converting, then continue to make excuses for yourself.

    Its as simple as that.

The theme is nice, the only thing im not sure about is that huge header banner, you have banner before it and after it, some of those are useless i think!
You should add more text where that huge banner is, and more pages. I like your site, looks great anyway! Good luck!

    Hi Raphnix,

I think your site is functional and good looking. But the title I see is "Play poker casino now" and your site`s name is "Poker Casino Now". I think you should use your URL name.
