Yeah thanks for coming in explaining Schalk. Please forgive me but how does this negatively affect your sportsbook. I am only curious because i am going to open a sportsbook site soon, and this interests me. (Affiliate site)

If this one bettor lost around 22000 Euros how does the sportsbook loose

EDIT: Just read your reply to Betpartners... So essentially your saying he is offering players a sort of rakeback? And this is against your terms and conditions?

    because another bettor wins 22000

    so bettor 1 wins 22k, better 2 loses 22k

better 1 and bettor 2 are together

the affiliate of better 2 gets 25% commission

and the affiliate of bettor 2 is?

    thats right better 1

    lol

    Thanks for explaining Schalk

The scheme takes two affiliate accounts and two player accounts. Let me show an example:

Player 1 opens an account under Affiliate 1 and bets $10K for Team A to win.

Player 2 opens an account under Affiliate 2 and bets $10K for Team A to loose.

    Team A wins.

    Player 1 makes a profit of 10K less, say 5% or $250.
Affiliate 1 closes account with a negative carryforward of $2.5K that is wiped out.
    Player 2 has a loss of $10K.
    Affiliate 2 makes a profit of 2.5K

    Net amount sportsbook pays out = $10K-$250-$10K+$2.5K = $2,250.

So, sportsbooks have to be very careful about situations where affiliates and player networks work together to defraud them.

lol i understood my explanation just fine but yeah Michael laid it out far better than me,

It is an old trick and that has forced quotas by some sportsbooks and because of this sort of thing it has effected us affiliates

Because they can do it across different sportsbooks, not just the same one, the only real defence is a quota unfortuantly

Unless the OP has a satisfactory response and i withhold judgement until that time, then do we really want members that do this, it harms honest affiliates.

But the OP should have the opportunity to respond before a judgement is made.

    @Schalk
I can only say, that my traffic was generated in good faith, no matter what you say. But if i want to generate real fraud traffic, i would go for bonus money and not something like this what other ppl here are talking about.

and the old expekt thing was no fraud traffic problem, it was a traffic problem, that i generated not much customers. I have only a small webside and i can be happy for every player i get to an aff. programm!

So you got your opinion, i got mine, no way we will come together anymore.
So i want to be fair and wish you good luck for the future, but you should really watch who you ban from the program.
