ThePokerKeep you will see, if your eyes were open, is stating the fact that the website in question(not yours) claims to have been online 10yrs or so when in actual fact its more like 6yrs.

It looks like they have used the first paragraph of your press release and have gone on to write their own article. They certainly haven't lifted your entire article.

That said, this does not make their actions right. If I were you and were annoyed at their actions, I would report it to the search engines. Although I might be right in thinking that PR's can be duplicated - your article after all is on a PR site.

Regarding the sites DMOZ Listing. You have reported this on the resource zone, so no doubt a senior editor will respond to you there. But I very much doubt this affects one way or another the sites eligibility for being listed on DMOZ.

I agree in part with your take on this, but, press releases are generally quoted verbatim and a back link is usually provided. This is more like pilfering/rewording an article and passing it off as their own.

Hi

Im editor in chief at ixgames and my responsibility that this doesn't happen.

It is unacceptable, I have blocked the editor of the post and removed the post from the news area.

This editor have not been with us for long and was not a hard decision.

I see the resemblance at the beginning of the posts and the 2 identical titles, it's unquestionable.

Copying a press release is okay but not changing the content, words, sentences or put your own links in it.

The best thing one can do first, is to send a message to the contact of the offending website.

Been talking with admins this weekend.

What were you trying to achieve when you wrote the thief statement on

- 4 different communities.
- signed up 2 times at our forum (youarescam, youarethief)
- sent numerous messages through our contact forms

When one of our editors (now gone and blocked), badly rewrote 4 sentences (dumb yes) of the beginning of your press release.

I dont think you know what a thief or scammer is.

I hope you take the responsibility and responds to your own posts at the communities you have started threads at with a resolved message.

We have been nothing else than cooperative in this matter.

The statement your press release have been stolen / they took my press release / ixgames are thiefs is far from the truth and correctly looked at is exaggerated misinformation or god forbid, disinformation.

The portion of your press release that our editor merely rewrote contained 6 percent of your total release.

Something else is behind this thread and the reasons of it together with the numerous statements found at other communities.

He is using words that dont explain what have happened and is either spreading misinformation or disinformation

A new editor at ixgames had posted a bad news item with 4 sentences from his press release. (the editor is now blocked).

The 4 sentences was approximately 6 percent of his press release.

Ixgames is a well known gambling and poker portal online and not engaged in scrapping content whatsoever.

First, you pretty much contacted us and posted on the forums at the same time.

Secondly, this has nothing to do with cheap employers and nowhere does it say so. It is just made up by you.

Third, you say you have the facts but you dont write and post according to.

A really really dumb editor and blog poster took 4 sentences from one of your press releases and posted it at our blog.

What is the most important thing in that statement ?

When a mistake is done!

Talk with the public and fix the issues as soon as possible.

Now, I think the best thing you can do to fix it, is to post an original PR on your blog or; post an apologies to the editors of GamblingIn.co.uk on your forum.
