    Default Quantity or quality?

    I am referring to:

Should you have a few (e.g. 3) big sites that you are working on constantly or should you rather build more mini sites (10+).

I like the idea of mini sites that go after very niche keywords and markets but I can also see teh merits in a few big sites....each to his own I guess

    Or a combination of both.

Iam with Chips here depending on your time and effort you can try to build an authority page within your broad niche and have it supportet by very specific minisites.

If you dont go crazy with interlinking and use a reasonable open Linkwheel you can get both the benefits of an exact match domain with the ummpf of an authority page.

Either way, you need to make sure the sites are finished.. There is no point having 10 unfinished sites when you can have 1 finished one..

    Remember, 35% of $0 is $0!

Default i think to make mini sites are best

    Hi All,
According to me the site should be having all related content of that industry and should be updated regularly, ex. bonus , promotion and offerning should be updated on regular basis, so visitor can find best information with quality. Quantity also matter to user, if you are providing good content in detailed , you will get good number of visitor. so according to me you should work on quantity with quality. none of one can work much.

    thanks

    Default I agree with Naveen

Originally i would go for quality. However I am starting to use a mixed method half and half. Content is king. This will get you searched for so it is a must and should be your highest priority when building the site.
Get the content in set up the basics start link building and move on to the next.

I would say lots of small sites with top quality content that is updated on a regular basis.

My oppinion is as follows ....

I preffer to have 2-3 websites with a lot of quantiny and quality , rather than dozens of small ones!

Small ones are very hard ro rank on search engines ....
but if u have quality website with quantiny and fresh content and keep it growing it is a sure long term investment that will bring you more and more profits!

Both approaches work. If you have the time and resources to build and maintain a bunch of mini (niche) sites, go for it.

Whatever approach you take, remember 'content is king'. Nothing turns a visitor off faster than a poorly built site that lacks relevant content. Whether you have 20 sites with 10 content pages on each or one large site with 200 pages of content, make sure the articles are well written, spell checked and add value for your visitor.

I see so many sites where the pages are stuffed with keywords and the content is obviously written by a non native speaker and the sole purpose of the page is to attract the SE bots.

Here's a perfect example paragraph from a page that was written for the bots but adds absolutely zero value to a human visitor. Obviously poorly translated from another language.

From a real life, players in poker have moved and to online, and now in poker with other players, real instead of with the computer, it is possible to play and in the Internet. There is a set of sites which suggest the visitors to play poker online with other players. For this purpose you need to open and fill up the account in one of kinds of game currencies and further to enter game. The profit of the gambling house in this case is made on a miscellaneous, depending on their rules, it can be and percentage deductions from a prize of the player and percent from the made rates and other combinations, but on players it not strongly influences, especially if you a win.
The entire page is stuffed with keywords and makes no sense to the reader. A page like this may gain a decent position in the serps but will not add any monetary value to the site. In fact, the opposite is likely to happen. anyone looking for good/valid information will click away within seconds of landing here.

    Hi everyone,

Well... this is my big picture about this thread.

I would choose both quality and quantity... But I prefer quality.

I've read a very good article about this written by Jim Boykin.
you can check the article here.

If you have 5 minutes just get to read into it. I think it will help answer the question.

    Steven
