My discussion with the Romanian Gaming Comission is still going on.

    For example:
    - Romanian company
    - having a website in French language with not a .ro-extension, but for example a .net or .be extension.
    - hosted on a server that is not in Romania and has no Romanian IP
    - blocking traffic from the Romanian territorium.

Opinion of the Romanian Gaming Commission: you'll need a license. In my opinion they cannot act like this.

This is my opinion as well.

You know they are asking for brands that apply for license and used to accept players from RO to pay retroactive tax since 2010 !
They just do what they want without any logic, they just want money and more money... its a shame

Link with Blacklisted Casinos was changed to the:

I'm interested in the answer to the question:

Why this list contains Rewards Affiliates, and not contain its Microgaming sisters such as Bright Share, Buffalo Partners, Fortune Affiliates?

I'm curious when some brand will fight against this in court...

Like Belgium. They put just (some kind of random) some brands to this list from time to time.

I would guess it's because we have so many brands. Maybe we are more popular

We no longer take Romanian players so this list is useless for us.

And still no useful answer from that Gambling Commission clowns. Perhaps the best solution is to see a confrontation with them?

I think it's a simply a matter of time until this list will cover everyone, same as what happened n Italy and now their list is covering around 3000 URL's!

Or the Belgian way, which means that they add every month 2 or 3 websites that do target Romanian players without license.

2 days ago, Romania revoked bet365 licence and bet365 suspended all player accounts.
As an romanian affiliate at bet365, how i can get paid, until now i transfered the revenue from affiliate account to player account and i have withdrawn them to neteller/skrill.
Now i don't know what i have to do, player acc closed, and wire transfer i can't in romania, is forbidden.
Is there any way to be paid from my afilliate account directly to my neteller account?
Or, i can open a bank account in another country, will be ok that for bet365?

By cheque, to your player account or by bank wire. If you open a bank account in another country, it's ok for Bet365. If you're living not too far from Bulgaria, better open an account there.

Have you tried asking bet365 - your aff manager? I would strongly suggest to check this first before moving forward and open a new bank account

I asked my acc manager and i not received any answer until now, maybe because of weekend, another friend already received an answer from his acc manager: "We are waiting for an answer from our players Support team in order to see how we will proceed with your payments from now on"
So, we are waiting and hoping to get an easy solution, maybe they can keep our player accounts able to receive founds from affiliate account.

Yes affiliate team is not responsive during weekend, also probably busy preparing for BAC...
    Better to wait and check

I have a message from my affiliate manager of bet:

As you may know your betting account is suspended due to a decision made by the Romanian Office of Gambling.
bet365 will be challenging this decision and we hope to have our service available to you again as soon as possible.

From what we are aware you can still withdraw funds from your betting account over the next 28 days so if you have any balance into your betting account please ask for a withdraw.

Concerning your future commission, We are investigating all the different posibilities about the payment of your commission and you will be informed relatively before your next payment.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

I hope they can solve the future commission issue, this will put them on a very good position with affiliates

Yep + perhaps they also have to have a good look at how to handle this. For them there's something at stake I guess.

I've heard now (here) that they have given details of players to ONJN, which means aboiut 54.000 players will get fined. My question is if they were forced to do so or that they're trying to please the ONJN. I heard nothing about Romanian prosecutors entering their offices or a case in court where was pointed out they have to give this details...

Fines will be up to 10.000 lei, which is quite a bunch of money for many Romanian residents. This puts perhaps also another light on their affiliate commissions. They' will face problems with OJNJ if they're paying affiliate commissions based on revenue share from 10 september 'till 30 september.
