Something Or Nothing

This maybe something or nothing I just dont know but whilst reading a post on another forum they mentioned a pokersdream.com and when i typed it in url i missed the s thus saerching for pokerdream.com

Remember them? Im sure you do. Well imagine my surprise when i was redirected to power poker on the cake network.

Are they the new pokerdream? Anybody know?

Me thinks a lot of players and affiliates would like to know the answer to that question. Good catch!!

Perhaps our friend J Todd could do some investigative work on this?

Yeah. By the result result in Google, it's pretty sure been altered for quite sometime already. I mean, the branding can't that be fast to redirect to a new domain name, is it?

The last update for pokerdream http://web.archive.org/web/200801212...okerdream.com/ January, 2008. Not to familiar with Pokerdream nor power poker.

well i can add that former affiliate manager of partner nordica is now working with a company named powerpartners and when i now saw this thread i realise they are the affiliate program of powerpoker, i always had him in good regards and im sure he can maybe give some light on this.

I have been working with PowerPoker and to this point have had no issues with them. Not sure what the issue is. If there is one at all. Will advise on my findings.

I am not sure if there is an issue Chips its just that if you input www.pokerdream.com in a browser you are directed to Power Poker

I think there is possible something very interesting here. Last night I came across a poster who was accusing pokerdream of ripping off his hole site.

Left the search there.

If you are referring to the post at PAL, it was mistaken there too, the site that ripped off the affiliate's site was pokersdream.com not pokerdream.com, the former network of (dreadful) poker skins that ripped off many licensees.

I'm sure there will be some more info to come out of this pokerdream issue.

Just to let you know that PowerPoker.com and DreamPoker.com are not related to each other.

PokerDream.com is owned by an affiliate of PowerPoker.com and they are redirecting their traffic to PowerPoker.com

Sorry but I'm quite confused with your statement here. Or did you just mistyped DreamPoker.com as PokerDream.com or are they the same websites?

If this is the case then I am wondering a) if PowerPoker know this is happening and b) if they do know then do they know the history of PokerDream?

I had conversation with the PowerPoker folks yesterday and made them aware.

DreamPoker.com nor PokerDream.com has anything to do with PowerPoker.com

We have kindly asked our affiliate to remove the re-direct link to PowerPoker.com to avoid any misunderstandings.

I can tell the link is now re-directing to Bodog. And no we do not have anything to do with Bodog either

FYI: Anyone can buy a domain and re-direct it to a poker room with an affiliate link. Weather it is a misspelled link or a domain with the right words in the wrong order etc.
