    Default Spearmaster.

If this post header has caught your attention, I can assume you knew my father, Ted Loh; more commonly known as 'spearmaster'.

I'm William, his youngest son, and I've just spent my evening reading through posts concerning my dad, from almost 7 years ago.

I'd just like to take this moment, on behalf of the Loh Family, to thank Casinomeister and other friends of my father for the affiliate links that you have set up; you have helped us so much, and we appreciate it far beyond words can convey.

Please spread word if you know someone this may concern, I sincerely thank you.

Your father was a good man who I always enjoyed speaking to. I only met him once in real life but our paths crossed many times online. Got2Bet all the way...

All my best wishes go to him. And your family!

    Hey, William. Thanks for posting.

I only met your dad once or twice, at early ICE conferences. I instantly liked him. I chatted with Ted occasionally online and spoke with him a few times on the phone. He was always eager to help me, regardless of whether he had anything to gain. I can vividly remember the last time I chatted with Ted - I'd spent the better/worst half of an evening trying to physically connect two desktops across two floors via XP's crazy LAN settings, and I was failing miserably and pulling my hair out. Your dad happened to phone me for the first time in a couple of years and caught me in a stressed out shitstorm of wires - I told him what I was trying to do, and in less than a minute he calmly told me what to do. Problem solved.

Lots of people here knew your dad better than I do, but the little I knew of him is enough to tell me about his character. A bloody nice guy.

    Billy,

Your father is one of the kindest most ethical persons I know. I say "is" because he lives on in my mind, and I know in the minds of many others as well.

Oh my, yes Ted was a good man and I was fortunate to have met him in person in Vegas back in 2005 and we spoke many a time and share many a laugh here at the GPWA both publicly as well as privately...

Playing the "Devils Advocate" was one of Ted's, your dad's, most memorable lines. While I never got the chance to me him personal, I always held him in the highest regard. You dad was a true gentleman, William

Billy, I've only just seen this now. Just to echo what everybody else has said. Ted was a very good friend and a giant in this industry. He personally helped me become an affiliate and for that I am very grateful.

    Please stay in touch.

Hey Billy, I remember your dad and his branded site, but never met him in person. I forgot how this came about, but we exchanged emails once and was joking about pirates in the Pacific Rims. This was circa 2002 maybe?

We had links up for your father but as we all know the company we marketed for him has been called out as thieves! If you have another program that we can advertise on our sites for the family I am willing to make a change of links. Please send me a PM.. Ted was a special friend to many.

I've got a feeling it wasn't ICE where I first met Ted... I'm getting flashbacks of meeting him in Vegas, at the Aladdin... for a conference I never actually made it into... could that be correct?

I don't know why that is worth mentioning.

I was going to guess 2003. If I'm remembering it correctly, I met Rick (nascar) at the same time. I learnt ALOT in an hour.
