just downloaded the new statsremote version, and its much better than the previous one. definitely recommended to all those that use the 3rd version or debating on signing up.

full set of features listed on the site (to which i can't post links). google it.

...it finally allows mouse scrolling & opens programs in FF. used to drive me crazy with that stuf. can also run the program from a flash drive in case you are on the move. wooooo!

The one thing I don't like is that when I click on a program, it goes to the Statsremote website first before going to the affiliate program.

Makes me feel like they are storing my usernames / passwords THERE now instead of in the .dat files like previously

One thing... For security reasons I would uncheck 'Remember Username and Password' in
the StatsRemote login window... just in case you lose your flash drive.

It doesn't go to the StatsRemote website first when you click on a program in the software. If you look closer you will see that it goes through localhost and not through our website. We don't have access to any of your details at any time. The only information that is sent to our server is your StatsRemote username and password in order to check whether you have an active subscription. We don't even know which programs you check with StatsRemote unless you let us know, e.g. when you send us an error report.

We had to change the way you login to the programs' stats because StatsRemote now runs on Linux and Mac as well and you can use any browser you like. The old method only worked on Windows with Internet Explorer.

And I see there is a Mac compatible version. I've started my trial already and am happy I did. Ugh, to think how much time was wasted going to every individual program.

I cannot live without my stats remote!!! Going to try the upgrade asap another thing that is awesome about this place is anytime we have a new program and send it along they are quick to add it to the program.

We last modified the Villento Affiliates routine in September 2008 after they had changed their stats. I just checked and it seems to work properly. If it doesn't work for you, please send an error report through the software and let us know what's wrong.
