Tattoos and Piercings

Carrying on from another thread, I was curious who has piercings and tatts...

Maybe you'd like to post photos too?

I've attached one of my tattoo. The guy who did it took this pic just after he finished it. It's on my left foot.

I also have my nose, ears and naval pierced.

Of all those, naval hurt the most.. and nose hurt the least. tattoo was probably a little more painful than getting ears pierced, but its on the most painful part of your body to get tattooed coz of all the bones.. it didnt hurt that much though

It says fortitudo, which means inner strength in latin.

That looks terrific. I find tattoos in unobtrusive, concealed places very sexy.

Don't like tattoos that take up a large area, like your arm or torso etc. People with large tattoos always look like they were hit with a wet newspaper.

I have always wondered about nose piercings, when you blow your nose are you not afraid that you may spray the person next to you?

Very nice tatt. I have never seen a beautiful woman with such a serious statement on her boddy, omg.

Me I do not have any, neither piercings. It hurts, does it not?

Hehehe I love the tattoo. As I mentioned previously in another thread, it has huge meaning for me, and is very symbolic (being that you walk forward with your feet)...
I like it there because whenever I see it I remember why I got it..

Nose piercing - to be honest you can't even feel it.. I always forget its there.. You have to be careful when you blow your nose but only because you dont want the end to stab you... there is a technique to it, but even if you took it out to blow, your snot cant come out the hole - its far too small and is actually on an angle :P

I'm not a huge fan of big tattoos either, but I have seen one or two that I have just fallen in love with.. I'm already thinking about my next tattoo..

I'm big on getting things with meaning.. Dont believe in getting something tattooed on your body for the sake of getting a tattoo.. It took me about 2 years to make up my mind about this one.. i was originally going to get it in greek, but figured latin was the "mother language"... so it had to be latin.

Piercings dont really hurt either.. they are very quick. unless you get something fleshy pierced like naval or eyebrow.. if i had to do my naval again, i would not. Ive never felt pain like that in my life.

Not really my leg more like the inside of my upper thigh....

that ink is sick Renee, i love it! i have none myself but do have the naval piercing and ears of course. the belly piercing did hurt like hell but worth it

After years of careful consideration I decided tats, piercing, or any other forms of body art was just not me. The good thing I am in the minority now. At the beach it seems everyone is supporting some sort of body art.

But if I were to get a tat it would be two possibilities,

1. Made In Greece around my navel (small print)
2. Superman (won't mention where)

Plus I am scared lol. Branding is really getting popular now that would hurt.

I think some people just suit them and some don't. It's up to personal preference really. You gotta think, when you see someone with a horrible tattoo and you think to yourself "what were they thinking?!"

They all come out at the beach dont they?

Id never brand myself. that would seriously hurt. it hurts when you just burn yourself a little. OUCH!

I have to say, my naval looks better pierced than not, but if it happened to fall out and close up or something theres no way id get it done again unless they put me to sleep during the piercing and for the duration of the healing LOL

i have to agree with you, i have a high pain tolerance but was totally unsuspecting of the pain that gun would cause. it's not quick like the ears, it's slow and excruciating. plus, i bled like a hemophiliac on booze and aspirin. i wasn't nervous about the gushing blood because i went to a place that was well respected in Laguna Beach, CA. took 3 weeks to get the appt. but the dude that pierced me freaked hahaha.

I have 2. Well, one at the moment and i am booked in for another before Amsterdam.

I have an atom tattooed on my left arm at shoulder height, and I am getting this done in UV ink somewhere where you cant see it...unless you ask nicely

I have pieced ears, but I'm to chicken to pierce anywhere else.
