I am super surprised that Spain is not in the list. It is defo, a great place to crash after 60, especially the Menorca or Mallorca, great food and weather and free healthcare

I'm Japanese but I'm not recommend to live in Japan if you can not speak JAPANESE.
I think people is friendly but We don't have the confidence to speak in English.
that's why even if they can speak English a little, They do not try to speak in public space. (my opinion)

Just try to find a country that is not turning into a communist state as it's the case in Germany for example. So Malta, Cyprus or even Montenegro could be some good choices, especially for entrepreneurs of course.

Bulgaria would be a very nice place to retire. Cost of living is among the best in Europe, climate is excellent, people are friendly and government is generally not very tyrannical.

I would rather live in a country with moderate climatic conditions, quiet and measured pace of life. Also I would appriciate a number of restaurants serving different cuisines. Sounds like Spain.

I would recommend Denmark. I had a chance to live there for a couple of months and it was great! Yes, you pay quite a big amount of taxes, but you know that it is all worth it. You have an insurance, the cities are spotless, the pension covers all of your needs and you can relax and enjoy yourself. The people are very nice and the crime rate is lower than in other countries. That is what I would suggest.

I live in Canada and glad to see it on the list. Great country. Although summers are amazing I would prefer a warmer climate in the winter.

Barcelona is prob best city on earth - I lived there for ~ 1 year, worth a look.
