Google confirmed it on their blog.. so not scaremongering, it's live.. I can see casinos "junk sites" holding top 3 positions for certain words.. i mentioned this on another thread, i think these are being target painted.. expect the weekend filled with fun

This is what I have noticed so far.. obvious link buyers "useless sites that attract millions of links including goverment, EDU etc" have had a huge boost and in some cases dominating top 3, for keywords that do not match their content.. obvious anchor spam.. my guess is it ranks high before drops perhaps? there is no way a bonus scraper site with 3.1 million backlinks in a year could avoid this one.

For what I know about algorithms (lol)... G has to recrawl the entire www before start seeing some "real" movements.

I am still puzzled as to where you are seeing these rankings, as I just don't see that on the keywords I follow.

I Do not target generic keywords, it's all pretty much related to what I do and you will rarely see them on the SEO tools as they do not fit into the top 100,000 etc .. but they are very relevant for me dfiocch probably knows what I am talking about
