Vacation Time

I just want to let folks know that I will be missing from the forums for most of the next couple weeks, and CityGuard will also be missing for a little over a week.

We're flying from Boston to Seattle tomorrow for a big family get-together. There are more than 20 of us going on a cruise from Seattle up the inside passage to Alaska. Besides the fact that I'll want to be spending my time on the trip with my family, and not on the computer, the price of internet access on a cruise ship means my family will firmly reinforce that view too.

So, with CityGuard and I both being pretty much absent from the forums, now is the opportunity for those who want to cause chaos to seize control with flames beyond compare.

Well, maybe not! In our absence, APCW Anthony will be acting as chief moderator. Personally, I would advise against testing how fast he is capable of selecting banned in the forum administrative interface.

Well, I'm officially logging off my machine now and headed home to pack. I'm especially excited because it is the first time my girlfriend will be meeting my relatives on this side of the family! She is a bit nervous about making a good impression.

I think it is going to be a great trip.

Wow! The last postings indicate that the 'authority' of the new Sherrif in town will be severely 'beta'-tested. Hope there is a substitute for him there, just in case he collapses like Sarkozy.

In any case, best wishes to Michael and Steve (and his gf). Hope to see some photos of this trip here.

Enjoy the vacations Michael and Steven. The coast line is beautiful, especially the Queen Charlotte Islands. Take lots of pics!
