Default Warning - Affactive refuses to pay big winner

Hi folks, this is a warning for those of you working with Affactive / Netad Management. We have referred American players to Affactive for a couple of years now, albeit with the warning that they are slow to pay and usually in instalments of $500 a fortnight, and as such their casinos were rated poorly on our site. They are now blacklisted completely.

    Full story is here:
    http://www.casinolistings.com/forum/...os-blacklisted

    The TLDR version:

In July, the player deposits $26 at Grand Macao Casino, gets a bonus and wins around $6500 after completing the wagering requirements. When she withdraws, the withdrawal is rejected and the casino tells her it will take up to 90 business days to verify her identity documents, which is ludicrous. She is then later contacted by a support rep who says there was "suspicious activity" on her account so instead they are offering to pay her only $500 and top up her balance in the casino to play again. The player quite rightly refuses the offer and asks to be paid. She has still not been paid and the casino refuses to respond to her and our emails about it.

These guys have always been borderline and now they are in outright rogue territory in my opinion.

I would like to see Affactive step in and do the right thing and pay this player. Seeing as they won't respond to emails, maybe a post here will get their attention.

Failing that, I would like GPWA to re-evaluate the sponsorship status of this affiliate program and affiliates to reconsider their association with this affiliate program.

Interesting that Affactive have the time to respond to other posts but all I see here is

I hate to bring the news:

Waiting time on very serious issues with most if not all affiliate programs - about one month (and counting).. Waiting time on GPWA assisting in relation to their sponsor programs - unknown. (and counting too)

    Sorry. Prepare to get frustrated...

Yeah I know. Pretty much just as I expected.

At least its out in public and anyone can read it and make their own judgments.

We now have a new complaint from a player at a Revenue Jet casino (most likely related to Affactive) that sounds amazingly similar (60 business days to verify their ID etc) so looks like they are next up to be blacklisted. Stay tuned for the next instalment of rogue casino hijinks.

Sometimes a casino needs time to come up with the best possible excuse as to why they didn't pay a player their winnings. On a side note, I've been doing a lot of research on this particular group over the last few weeks to get a general feel of what the public ( players & affiliates ) think. The overall impression I got was they are borderline rogue and starting to really **** people off with their slow payments to winners and misleading terms and conditions.

Casinolistings.com is imo one of the best gambling portals on the net and if the owner of that site says their blacklisted, that's good enough for me and I too consider them rogue from now on as should other affiliates reading this thread.

    Thanks for the encouragement Puma.

The thing I guess that shocks me most is they aren't even here trying to deny it or spin the story to try to save face. It looks like they could not care less. I'm not going to go into sob story detail but from my talks with the player she could really use the money at an important time in her life.

Our now former Affactive affiliate manager just emailed us the other day trying to get us to sign up with his new program. I don't know if you can read anything into that but to me when you add everything up it looks like its all going downhill there and fast. Don't let your players or yourself be the ones left holding the can.

Just curious Muppet that this isn't PAB'd on Casinomeister? I can see why you would post on GPWA for affys but for the players sake why not CM?

Correction, CM doesn't take PAB's from non 'accredited' casinos.

    Thanks for the information Muppet.

We've never worked with AffActive ... their position on slow pay for winners was enough to be excluded from appearing on the GoonersGuide site ... but this appears to be unacceptable player dealings - especially the attempt to get the player to play it back and lose it.

In reading your article it appears that they claim "suspicious activity on the account" - but the VIP manager is prepared overlook this and double the amount in the account (in credits I assume) and let the player play some more? ? WTF?!

A $6500 winner is not a casino breaker for a correctly funded online casino program - this approach by the VIP manager is undefendable - and such behaviour cannot be justified in any way.

    SOME QUESTIONS
    -------------------------
1/ Why would long-term affiliates refer players to a casino knowing that winners are never paid?!
2/ Why would the GPWA promote and/or be sponsored by a program that is behaving this way?!

I did receive a reply from Clara letting me know she is on vacation with limited internet access. She sent my message on to Rick to handle while she is away.
I also sent a note to Rick on Friday. As soon as I get some information I will post it.

WTF indeed. I've never seen such nonsense. If there really was some "strange activity" (whatever that is supposed to mean ... they didn't elaborate to me or the player) they would have banned and zeroed her account as quickly as possible. As far as I am aware, the account is still active and she continues to email them asking when the payment will be made, and she is ignored. They just don't want to pay up. That is pretty much all there is to it as far as I can tell.

There is no way this program should continue to be endorsed by this site. And yes I know the sponsorships are technically not "endorsements", but if they were not interpreted as such no program would be paying for them. It's not just the decision to not pay without any good reason. The conduct of the support in trying to intimidate her not to proceed with her withdrawal is unconscionable. And that is what I believe the "strange activity" remark is all about - an attempt to frighten her into thinking that they are going to deny the entire withdrawal and accept a substantially worse offer.

Anthony, Clara and Rick already know all about this one as they were first emailed about it on August 22. Neither has been of any help as apparently the company policy is that once something goes to the mysterious black hole that is the Affactive finance department no-one else can do or say anything about it. Eric tried to help out but he basically was told the same thing and it appears that he no longer works there. This is why I posted here - they are non-communicative and hiding behind the "finance department shield". I hope you have better luck than we did.

This is the first I have read/seen about Affactive not paying players. I do promote Affactive and personally have always had a good experience with them however I will be very interested in seeing the outcome of this situation. Already the fact this has been going looks bad and if the aff managers have known about this since August 22nd and have not done anything about it is horrible.

Just out of curiosity, when the casino says there was "suspicious activity" on the account, what could they claim happened that the player would not be paid?

Clara - can you elaborate on what the suspicious activity was? As I promote Affactive pretty heavily I do not want to be sending players somewhere where this occurs. It can certainly ruin my credibility as well.

So Rick has had well over a week. It looks like he is MIA.

For what its worth, we have now blacklisted Revenue Jet too. We received only an unsatisfactory reply to our enquiries, plus a few more complaints about non payment by a couple of casinos in that group too.
