Interesting. You think maybe the rep would care to explain this one?

    Hi... again....

The casino representative didn't explain him/herself properly and I apologize for that.

The player will be paid in full, in installments according to his player class, like any other player in our casino.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Not really. She / He should be able to get all her money soon. As you can understand, is not our interest to keep an issue open indefinitely.

If you think that the casino is trying to make it slow in order to get the player tired, its not the case either.

As I mentioned previously, the player will get paid fully. Just need to proceed with the withdrawals as mentioned by our team.

Just so we're all on the same page --- let's re-quote the original claim.

We have referred American players to Affactive for a couple of years now, albeit with the warning that they are slow to pay and usually in instalments of $500 a fortnight, and as such their casinos were rated poorly on our site. They are now blacklisted completely.

    Full story is here:
    http://www.casinolistings.com/forum/...os-blacklisted

    The TLDR version:

In July, the player deposits $26 at Grand Macao Casino, gets a bonus and wins around $6500 after completing the wagering requirements. When she withdraws, the withdrawal is rejected and the casino tells her it will take up to 90 business days to verify her identity documents, which is ludicrous. She is then later contacted by a support rep who says there was "suspicious activity" on her account so instead they are offering to pay her only $500 and top up her balance in the casino to play again. The player quite rightly refuses the offer and asks to be paid. She has still not been paid and the casino refuses to respond to her and our emails about it.

These guys have always been borderline and now they are in outright rogue territory in my opinion.

I would like to see Affactive step in and do the right thing and pay this player. Seeing as they won't respond to emails, maybe a post here will get their attention.

Failing that, I would like GPWA to re-evaluate the sponsorship status of this affiliate program and affiliates to reconsider their association with this affiliate program. source

We've never worked with AffActive ... their position on slow pay for winners was enough to be excluded from appearing on the GoonersGuide site ... but this appears to be unacceptable player dealings - especially the attempt to get the player to play it back and lose it.

In reading your article it appears that they claim "suspicious activity on the account" - but the VIP manager is prepared overlook this and double the amount in the account (in credits I assume) and let the player play some more? ? WTF?!

A $6500 winner is not a casino breaker for a correctly funded online casino program - this approach by the VIP manager is undefendable - and such behaviour cannot be justified in any way.

    SOME QUESTIONS
    -------------------------
1/ Why would long-term affiliates refer players to a casino knowing that winners are never paid?!
2/ Why would the GPWA promote and/or be sponsored by a program that is behaving this way?!

Quote Originally Posted by Muppet View Post

As far as I am aware, the account is still active and she continues to email them asking when the payment will be made, and she is ignored. They just don't want to pay up. That is pretty much all there is to it as far as I can tell.

There is no way this program should continue to be endorsed by this site. And yes I know the sponsorships are technically not "endorsements", but if they were not interpreted as such no program would be paying for them. It's not just the decision to not pay without any good reason. The conduct of the support in trying to intimidate her not to proceed with her withdrawal is unconscionable. And that is what I believe the "strange activity" remark is all about - an attempt to frighten her into thinking that they are going to deny the entire withdrawal and accept a substantially worse offer.

Anthony, Clara and Rick already know all about this one as they were first emailed about it on August 22. Neither has been of any help as apparently the company policy is that once something goes to the mysterious black hole that is the Affactive finance department no-one else can do or say anything about it. Eric tried to help out but he basically was told the same thing and it appears that he no longer works there. This is why I posted here - they are non-communicative and hiding behind the "finance department shield". I hope you have better luck than we did.

This is a simple case of a player that won IN JULY (it is now the end of October, more than 3 MONTHS LATER) who still has not been paid, not even on one of your crappy $500 a month instalment plans. There was no "strange activity" BS, there is no fraud. The player's account is still open. But since you asked, lets stick to the subject and do a little recap of the facts:

    1. Player deposited $26 in July.
    2. Player won $6500 and met all wagering requirements.
    3. Player withdrew and was denied and told that her account was being checked, a process which could take up to 90 business days. (Actions of a rogue casino right there)
    4. Player is approached by a crooked staff member who attempted to bribe her into accepting $500 to reverse her withdrawal. (Rogue yet again)
    5. We email you a couple of times and are told to basically talk to the hand, its all up to finance, no care, no responsibility.
    6. We post here and may as well be shouting into an empty room with you and Rick doing your best to respond occasionally without actually doing or saying anything of any help. We're all still waiting to hear what Rick has to say seeing as he was looking into it urgently 3 weeks ago on October 6.
    7. 3 months later and you're still talking about solving the issue without lifting a finger to do anything.

Is that on topic enough for you?

Anyone else reading this here who cares about where they refer players would have to have rocks in their head to either start or continue working with your program, or Revenue Jet who have gone down an almost identical path at an identical point in time. That is the point of me posting here. Not to hear excuses, deflection, or empty promises that you're looking into it. Frankly if I was you, I would be too embarrassed to post here.

Once again I urge the GPWA to boot this crooked program from your list of endorsed sponsors.

I spoke with AffActive and as they stated earlier the player is being paid. Clara even contacted the player directly to relay the withdrawal is being processed. When the payment is complete I will post an update.

At best, the player is being slow-rolled. Looking forward to seeing closure for the player by Easter.

I can confirm that the player has received her first $1000. She has been advised to submit withdrawals once per fortnight so it is going to take a while for $6500 to come through. But it is good to see that things are finally moving. Thanks Clara for your efforts, please keep on top of this.

This is really incredibly funny thread. All this for 6.5K? The thread is wrong. It should be Affactive refuses to pay quite small winner

I wish the player to be paid in full, but this casino does not deserve to survive for the sake of the industry.

Just so we're all on the same page - the player was told to submit withdrawal requests once per fortnight and the first $1k was received prior to 17 November. The second $1k was received after the instructions were given.

    Is that accurate?

    Hi,

the player has been informed that the payment will be done in installments. I also provided my contact details in case any inconvenience arise so the player can get in touch directly.

Ill get in touch right now to see where we are standing.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

A lot of casinos have $10k/month payout restrictions yet happily allow customers to try and hit a million dollar jackpot game, it's ridiculous and all such casinos should be blacklisted, gives the whole industry a bad name.

    Hi,

I personally got in touch with the player to see if everything was fine and the casino was following the initial instructions in regards to her payments.

The player is satisfied and getting paid, according to what was spoken between the parts.

In any case, she has my personal details to request assistance at any time as mentioned previously.
