Angry Warning: Deckmedia Affiliates Refusing To Pay Comission (RESOLVED)

This is a formal complaint and a warning to other affiliates about how Deckmedia is currently treating my account. Based on what I’m seeing in my stats and emails, it feels like I’m being scammed out of confirmed commission by an invented “refund” and a player who has only threatened a chargeback, not actually done one.

All evidence screenshots mentioned below are attached and labelled 01–10 so anyone can verify what I’m saying.

    1. My October 2025 earnings were confirmed as payable

On 2 November 2025, I emailed Deckmedia asking if my October 2025 commission could be paid early because I was in financial hardship. They replied that there was a bug in their invoicing system, so payments couldn’t be processed until invoices were generated.

On 4 November 2025, that issue was apparently fixed. In my Balance Transactions, a clear line appeared:
    RevenueShareEarnings – SlotoCash – Confirmed monthly earnings for 2025-10 – 4,483.17
At the same time, my Payable Balance showed 4,483.17. So as of 4 November, Deckmedia had confirmed my October earnings as due and payable.

    • See Screenshot 07 – Deckmedia_BalanceTransactions_Confirmed_Earnings_O ctober.png
    • See Screenshot 06 – Deckmedia_October_DailyRevShare_4483.png (Daily Rev Share report with October total 4,483.17)

At this point, there was no mention of any problem player, chargeback, or chargeback threat. Everything indicated I was owed 4,483.17 for October.

    2. Their 9 November AGD reply: they say nothing about chargebacks or threats

When I didn’t see any sign of payment, I posted about the delay on AffiliateGuardDog around 8–9 November 2025.

On 9 November, the Deckmedia rep replied publicly. In that reply they:

    • Said the invoices had now been generated,
    • Stated that their official payment date is the 15th of every month, and
    • Tried to portray my posts as harassment / blackmail for pressing them about payment.

What they did not say anywhere in that 9 November reply:

    • No mention of a chargeback,
    • No mention of a player threatening chargebacks,
    • No suggestion that my earnings were at risk because of any disputed deposits.

If their real concern had genuinely been a problem player or a chargeback situation, that would have been the obvious time to say so. Instead, they only talked about the 15th being their pay date and attacked me for complaining.

    • See Screenshot 01 – AGD_Deckmedia_Reply_9Nov2025.png
    • See Screenshot 02 – AGD_Wayne_Followup_Posts_9Nov2025.png
    • See Screenshot 03 – AGD_Wayne_Email_Clarification_9Nov2025.png

    3. October payout line disappears – replaced with “Nov 2025 – Pending”

Later, when I checked the Payouts page in my affiliate account, something else didn’t look right:

    • The row that should clearly show October 2025 as a payout had disappeared.
    • Instead, there’s a row labelled “Nov 2025” with an amount that lines up with my October earnings (after currency conversion), but the status is Pending and nothing has been paid.

    So instead of:
    Oct 2025 – Paid – 4,483.17
    I see something like:
Nov 2025 – Pending – 3,808.73 (amount equivalent to October earnings)
No payment. No explanation for why October isn’t listed as its own month anymore.

    • See Screenshot 04 – Deckmedia_Payouts_List_Missing_October.png
    • See Screenshot 09 – Deckmedia_Payouts_October_As_November_Pending.png

Still, they haven’t said a word to me about any chargebacks or threats at this point.

    4. 14 November: a sudden 9,546.05 “refund” appears in November, with no deposits

When I looked at my November 2025 Daily Rev Share stats:

    • There are no deposits in November from my players, only some clicks.
    • Yet, on 14 November 2025, a single entry suddenly appears:
      • Refund: 9,546.05
      • NET: –9,546.05
      • Earnings: around –2.8k (roughly 30% of 9,546.05)

This one late entry instantly turns November into a massive negative month, even though no deposits were made in November. There’s no breakdown, no explanation in the reports, just one giant “refund”.

This 9,546.05 “refund” was never mentioned in their 9 November AGD reply. It only shows up in my stats days later, after I’d already complained about not being paid.

    • See Screenshot 05 – Deckmedia_November_DailyRevShare_Refund_9546.png
    • See Screenshot 08 – Deckmedia_November_DailyRevShare_Full.png

I then contacted Deckmedia and specifically demanded to know what this 9,546.05 transaction on 14 November was supposed to be.

    5. 15 November: only after I question the refund do they mention a threat of chargebacks

Only after I asked what the 9,546.05 refund was, Deckmedia finally sent me an email on 15 November 2025.

In that email, for the first time, they say:

    • I have one active player in my account,
    • This player has made no deposits in November,
    • The player is threatening the casino with chargebacks for previous months’ deposits, and
    • Because of this, they are unable to release any affiliate earnings at this time, and they refer to “earnings that were made on deposits from potential future chargebacks”.

Their own wording is very important:
They talk about a player “threatening the casino with chargebacks” and they refer to “potential future chargebacks”.
They do not say that any actual chargeback has been processed. In fact, the way it’s written makes it very clear that the chargebacks have not yet happened – they are only threatened.

    On top of that:
This specific player has been playing at SlotoCash for around 12 years and has never had a chargeback in all that time.
So at the exact moment there is a dispute over my unpaid commission, a long-term player with a clean 12-year history allegedly starts “threatening” chargebacks on historic deposits – and that suddenly becomes the reason to freeze my earnings.

    • See Screenshot 10 – Deckmedia_Email_15Nov2025_Potential_Chargebacks.pn g

    So the sequence is:

    1. 9 Nov: Deckmedia’s AGD reply – no mention of any player, threat, or chargeback.
    2. 14 Nov: A 9,546.05 “refund” appears in my stats, making November massively negative despite no deposits that month.
    3. After I ask what that refund is,
    4. 15 Nov: Deckmedia emails me saying a player is threatening chargebacks and they’re now withholding all my earnings because of “potential future chargebacks” that haven’t happened.

It looks very much like the explanation was created after the fact to justify a huge negative adjustment that was already inserted.

    6. Why this doesn’t match their terms (threat ≠ actual chargeback)

    Deckmedia’s affiliate terms talk about:

    • Deducting actual chargebacks/refunds from commission,
    • Making such adjustments during a 12-business-day processing period, and
    • Paying affiliates no later than the 15th of each month.

That’s normal when there are real documented chargebacks.

    But in my case:

    • There is no confirmed chargeback. The player has only threatened to charge back, per their own email.
    • Their terms do not say they can withhold already confirmed, invoiced commission based on a threat of a chargeback that hasn’t actually occurred.
    • October earnings (4,483.17) were confirmed and invoiced on 4 November and were supposed to be paid by 15 November. That date came and went, and I received no payment.
    • They promote a “no negative carryover” policy, yet they’ve turned November into a huge negative month using a single unexplained 9,546.05 refund, despite no new November deposits, and are using that negative as the basis to freeze October’s money.

    In plain English:
There has been no chargeback yet. A long-term 12-year player has only threatened to file one. Even so, Deckmedia has inserted a 9,546.05 “refund” into my stats and is using that, plus a threat, as the reason to withhold the entire confirmed October commission. That’s not what their terms describe, and it doesn’t feel honest.
    7. Why I believe this is unsafe and a warning to other affiliates

I fully accept that if a real, documented chargeback happens, commission on those specific deposits should be reversed. That’s part of working in this industry.

But what Deckmedia is doing to me is something else:

    • On 9 November, they made no mention of any player or chargeback threat when defending themselves publicly.
    • After I complain about not being paid, a huge 9,546.05 “refund” suddenly appears in my stats on 14 November.
    • Only once I question that refund do they send a 15 November email, suddenly talking about a player “threatening” chargebacks and “potential future chargebacks” – clearly stating the chargeback has not happened yet, and this is just a threat.
    • That same threat is now being used to justify withholding all of my confirmed earnings, including October’s 4,483.17 that was already invoiced and marked as payable.
    • This is happening with a player who has had no chargebacks in 12 years of playing at SlotoCash.

    To me, this looks like:

    1. Stats being changed after a payment dispute,
    2. A large, unexplained “refund” being inserted,
    3. An email explanation built around a threat, not a real chargeback,
    4. My confirmed commission effectively being held hostage.

If Deckmedia can do this to me:

    • Add a big negative “refund” based on a threat from a long-term player,
    • Use it to wipe out a month where there were no new deposits,
    • Then refuse to pay commission that was already confirmed and invoiced,

they can do it to any affiliate.

This post is a formal complaint and a warning. I want this resolved immediately and I want my October 2025 commission of 4,483.17 paid. Other affiliates should look very carefully at their Deckmedia stats and think hard about whether they’re comfortable with a program that can apparently rewrite earnings and withhold confirmed payments based on nothing more than a threat.

So Deckmedia did in fact explain the situation that the single player is threatening chargeback for all previous deposits, and explained that the situation is in an unknown state and tried to explain they could not release the funds "at this time".

So the "random refund" is not random but it was explained to you it was based on a single player threatening the chargeback.

Guessing that once the time frame passes that does not allow the chargebacks, or if/when the player does perform a chargeback the amount would either be placed back in to your account for commissions or more clearly defined as a chargeback.

It also appears you might have over-reacted and prematurely requested your affiliate account to be closed so that even if the case does turn around to your favor your affiliate account most likely will be closed.

I do hope this does work out in your favor, or if the player does a chargeback it might not be the full amounts, but it may take a while for it to clear as the average chargeback time is likely a minimum of 90-120 days from the deposit time frames.

Deckmedia is withholding $4,483 in confirmed October earnings based on a threat (not actual chargeback) that might result in losses months from now. That's not reasonable risk management—that's using a threat as an excuse not to pay.

This Player Has a 12-Year Clean History
This player has been active at SlotoCash for approximately 12 years with zero chargebacks. Suddenly, right when there's a payment dispute, they're "threatening chargebacks"? The timing is remarkably convenient for Deckmedia.

    Regarding Closing My Account

    I requested account closure because:
If a program can't honor confirmed payments and their own terms, why would I want to continue working with them? And yes, I specifically said "close it once you've paid what's owed"—I'm not forfeiting my earned commission.

The 90-120 Day Wait is Unacceptable

Their terms say payment is due by the 15th of the month. They don't say "payment by the 15th unless a player threatens a chargeback, in which case we'll hold your money for 90-120 days indefinitely."

If they want to protect themselves from chargebacks, they should:

    Bottom Line:

Deckmedia confirmed my payment was ready, missed their deadline, retroactively added negative entries, and are now using a threat to indefinitely withhold earnings from a different month. Multiple other affiliate programs operate in this space without these issues.
I'm not "overreacting"—I'm documenting a pattern of behavior that other affiliates should be aware of. If this situation resolves fairly, I'll gladly update my complaint. But based on how they've handled it so far, I have serious concerns.

    • They missed their payment deadline
    • They manipulated my stats retroactively
    • They're withholding confirmed earnings indefinitely
    • Their communication has been dismissive and accusatory
    • Build it into their payment terms upfront
    • Hold a reasonable reserve percentage (like 10-20%)
    • Not retroactively withhold 100% of confirmed earnings

Hey, no – I’ve had this one player for the past 12 years and their account is not closed.

The $17k figure is what the player lost in October alone. The previous month they lost $48,457.80.

The $9k that suddenly appeared yesterday as a “refund” is, I’m assuming, the amount the player has threatened to charge back. Deckmedia won’t answer me when I ask them to confirm this.

If you subtract that $9k from the $17k, it leaves $7,897.68, and I should be getting at least 30% of that.

The commission I earned from the full $17k is $4,483.17. Even if the $9k is treated as a chargeback and removed, I should still receive around $2,369 in commission. So if the $9k is the potential chargeback amount, why are they holding the entire commission?

I fully agree with your concerns. At the very least, the confirmed October earnings should be paid without delay, or at least partially paid. With no negative carryover in effect, there is no justification for withholding funds that are already due. Deckmedia needs to act transparently and provide concrete evidence regarding this alleged chargeback. Situations like this can raise broader concerns for affiliates about trust and reliability within the network, and handling it fairly is essential to maintaining confidence in their program.

I have discussed this situation with other affiliates and several have drawn my attention to deckmedia terms regarding chargebacks. In Section 4.3, it clearly states that funds may be deducted from commissions only if a chargeback or credit occurs within the 12-business-day payment-processing period. You first advised me of this issue on the 15th of the month, which falls outside that timeframe.

Furthermore, from Sections 4.3 through 4.5, there is no mention of commissions being withheld based solely on a threat by a customer to initiate a chargeback.

At this stage, no chargeback has actually occurred. On that basis, there is no contractual justification for holding back earned commission purely due to a potential or threatened chargeback.

I was going to mention the terms also in some of our private discussions. They clearly made an allowance for this exact type of situation.

They could have just listed it as an immediate chargeback, but it appears it was treated in this manner so that if the chargeback does not happen they can more easily allow for the revenue adjustment back to your account.

Deckmedia’s own terms don’t seem to support what is happening here.

Sections 4.2 and 4.3 refer to actual chargebacks or credits that have already taken place – not just a situation where a player says they might do a chargeback.

Section 4.3 says fees can be deducted from commissions if a chargeback or credit occurs within the 12-business-day payment-processing period. In my case, I was only informed of this issue on the 15th, which appears to be outside that timeframe, and even then Deckmedia clearly stated that a chargeback has not occurred.

I cannot see any clause in the terms that expressly allows Deckmedia to hold or delay commissions solely because a player has threatened a chargeback. All of the chargeback-related clauses are based on events that have already happened (a chargeback, a refund, a credit, or a reversed deposit).

Regarding the 9k “refund” deduction in the November stats, Deckmedia has not explained what this amount relates to. It seems others are assuming this is the potential chargeback amount, but that has not been clearly confirmed.

If the 9k does represent the potential chargeback, then it would appear more reasonable that only the commission related to that 9k is held, and that any remaining earned commission (after that deduction) is released and paid.

Many brands will refund before a player can chargeback if they truly think they will do a chargeback, it's not so much the money aspect but keeping the % low so you don't lñose the merchant account. You went full out on the attack of them because they didn't pay you early and it's just bad luck that you have a player like this. I guess oince the player passes the 180 limit without a chargeback then it will be available for you?

Long time players sometimes have gambling issues and run out of money. In July I lost a big player at a non USA group .The player did a chargeback then asked to have the account closed. When players threaten a chargeback they are obviously exploring that option .Not sure how a credit card company will react if you call up and say I have a gambling issue and need you to chargeback everything you can. Some have max 45 days others will go back 90-120 days . I have been with Deck 17 years and never had any reason not to trust them.Be patient if you have a long relationship give them the time to work it out.

Years ago a manager disclosed to me that a player of ours charged back over $5000 but it was many 20 -50 deposits and they had a huge fee attached to each chargeback so they did a big refund of everything for the player. It was Revenue Giants no longer in Business but it did not affect me much as we had much higher deposits. Protecting the processor they may just do a full refund and lock the acct too.

    1. You overreacted and requested your account being closed which is understandeable but not a smart way to handle this situation.
    2. You should apologize and ask them to reinstate your account, why would you deny yourselves the rightful earnings.
    3. Deckmedia should pay what is owed once the month is closed with the exception see 4.
    4. If a chargeback is requested affiliate earnings can be affected depends on when the player made this known.
    5. Future earnings can be affected if the player threatens to dispute previous deposits.
    6. Players will do things you will never expect when they run out of money.
    7. You have to be patient even if this is a roller coaster.

I wish you all the luck and hope you can sort things out with deckmedia as I do not think they are untrustworthy.

Hi, Yeah i do agree i overreacted in regards to posting as much as i have. So apologise for that, but not for trying to recover money owed.

I sought legal advice late yesterday and their own affiliate agreement terms are not being followed.

Here is a short snippet of the letter displaying terms breached, the legal advice team drafted for me. The affiliate account has not yet been closed.

    They also need to explain:

What the 9K refund thats appeared on november stats (Not October) on the 14th November.

Clearly it isnt the chargeback as they emailed on the 15th stating the chargeback has not happened.

Below are just the terms where breaches have occured.

    CONTRACTUAL VIOLATIONS

Your actions constitute multiple breaches of our Affiliate Agreement:

    1. BREACH OF SECTION 4.4 – FAILURE TO PAY BY THE 15TH

    Contract Language:

"We will pay you Advertising Revenue no later than the 15th of every month"
Breach: You failed to pay my October 2025 commission of $4,483.17 by November 15, 2025. This payment was confirmed and invoiced on November 4, 2025.

    2. IMPROPER APPLICATION OF SECTION 4.2 – CHARGEBACK DEFINITION

    Contract Language:

"A charge-back is defined as un-collectable CC transaction from the CC companies as a result of customer non payment or fraudulent credit card use."

Breach: Your November 15th email confirms that no chargeback has occurred. You refer to a player "threatening" chargebacks and "potential future chargebacks." A threat is not an "un-collectable CC transaction." The Affiliate Agreement does not authorize withholding confirmed commission based on threats or potential future events.

    3. VIOLATION OF SECTION 4.3 – PROCESSING PERIOD TIMELINE

    Contract Language:

"If a charge back or credit occurs during the fee payment-processing period (12 business days), we reserve the right to deduct the associated fees from the owed Advertising revenues."

Breach: The 12-business-day processing period for October 2025 earnings would have concluded before November 15th. The $9,546.05 "refund" that appeared on November 14th falls outside this processing window and cannot be applied retroactively to earnings that were already confirmed as payable.

    4. MISUSE OF "SOLE DISCRETION" UNDER SECTION 1.6

    Contract Language:

"Deposits reversed (or credits given) by us, in our sole discretion, to negate fraud, error, Player non satisfaction or through charge-backs."

Breach: Even contractual "sole discretion" clauses must be exercised in good faith and cannot be applied arbitrarily. Your actions demonstrate bad faith:

No chargeback has occurred (only a threat)
The refund appeared only after I complained publicly about non-payment
A player with a 12-year clean history suddenly becomes a "threat" at the exact moment payment is disputed
The timing and amount of the "refund" appear designed to justify withholding my commission

    5. BREACH OF GOOD FAITH – SECTION 3.4 MISAPPLICATION

Section 3.4 addresses "traffic not generated in good faith" and fraud. You have not alleged that I generated fraudulent traffic or acted in bad faith. This provision does not authorize withholding legitimate earnings due to a third-party player's alleged threats.

    ADDITIONAL CONCERNS

Retroactive Stats Manipulation: The sudden appearance of a $9,546.05 "refund" in November 2025—a month with zero player deposits—only after I raised payment concerns, raises serious questions about the integrity of your reporting system.

Inconsistent Communications: Your November 9th public response made no mention of any payment complications, yet five days later a massive refund appears, followed by an explanation referencing "threats" rather than actual events.

No Negative Carryover Policy: Your affiliate program promotes a "no negative carryover" policy, yet you have created a significant negative balance in Novembers stats, based on activity allegedly from prior months, using this to justify withholding October's confirmed earnings.
Deckmedia have replied on another platform 6 hours ago, we are now in discussions and i will refrain from posting further on the matter until this complaint has been mediated fully. I will however update of the outcome.

Just so you get things sorted - this statement is wrong. 12th business day does not mean November 12th.

Weekends and holidays are not included.

If they have a 12 business day processing then that would typically cover until at least the 16th (including 4 weekend days).

And in 2025 it would be the 18th as November 1st was a Friday - so it covers three weekends.
Then you throw in potential holidays eg. US has November 11th as Veteran's day - so November 19th would be 12 business days.

    Hi

They operate 7 days a week, this has been demonstrated in various posts around Various forums and by them also emailing. Also there is a history ( 10+ Years ) of payments being made to affiliates and myself to skrill on Saturday and Sundays. There casino operation doesnt stop for weekends and niether does earnings. Where in the terms do they say they are closed for weekends and public holidays.

The real issue isn't whether they're 1-2 days late. The problem is:

    • They confirmed earnings as payable on November 4
    • They've had nearly 2 weeks
    • They're claiming they won't pay at all due to "threats"

The weekend issue is a red herring.
Their breach is withholding payment entirely based on an alleged threat, not being a day or two late for processing reasons.

For weekends and public holidays to be excluded from either the 12-business-day processing period or the 15th-of-the-month payment deadline, such exclusions must be explicitly stated in the contract. Deckmedia has not included these provisions in their Agreement. Standard contract law principles require that any such exceptions be clearly written.

They've defined 12 business days - not 12 days. The term is fairly well understood. Weekends and public holidays will be excluded
Claiming "standard contract law" and ignoring the accepted term "business days" sounds like a forum warrior unable to say "oops - I got it wrong".

You're wrong - clearly wrong - and being unable so say so colours my view of your other claims.

That's not to deny the other points which are correct - if they haven't got a chargeback (even if they've received a threat of one) then they should not be holding your funds hostage according to the terms of the agreement

However, all the financial power in the program / affiliate relationship is at their end. If they decide that they want to hold funds for an additional month because the player is being a "dickhead" and saying that he will chargeback then they can (illegally) and there is f@#k all that we can do about it.

Typically affiliates have to converse privately and probably accept the delay because legal processes and costs are so murky and costly that the legal path does not make financial sense. In the end you are beholding to the program as they pay the money and you cant force payments.

You've gone a different way - good luck with that plan.
