This is really scary and no technical error can go undetected for so long imho.
... and this only affected some affiliates and not all? No that is not something I can realistically believe.

Coming from a programing/coding background (specializing in database management) I can assure you that programs DO NOT just start performing differently UNLESS it's specifically progammed to do so.
There is no way a program will pick different tasks to do if instructed to do a specific task. They are not advanced enough to pick mojo's account out to do one thing and bonustreak account to do another unless it's PROGRAMMED to do so.
I can see the revenue percentage being calculated differently, but NOT the deposit amount calculation unless it's programmed to do so.
I find this really mind boggling why does Playshare not reply to the question why only 50% of the player deposits were accounted for in Mojo's stats?
I saw PSP logged on yesterday but still nothing, I find this very frustrating at the least !
Playshare maybe you could not hear us :
We would like to have a reply !
LOL love that banner GCG.
FYI, I have not heard anything yet but PSP is logged in now. Perhaps we'll hear.
Hey Playshare, how about an update?
Earlier you wrote:
Can you explain specifically what caused her deposits to change from $50 to $25? If it wasn't the currency conversion issue, was it the "freezing" of data? If so, how exactly did that affect her account? And why did it affect only some accounts, not all?
Further, why was the original amount owed $23 instead of $25? And now that her account has been corrected, the deduction is $6 -- instead of receiving $100, she only gets $94 -- why?
Dear All,
Apologies for the delayed response, we are still working with the issue at hand and will update you in the next couple of days, but some brief information
1. The stats are now all accurate from November 1st onwards.
2. We have paid out October earnings to all the affiliates as we didn’t want to delay the payment run, note, as we have not finished gathering all the information, it menas that the affected affiliate accounts with errors will have been paid out according to the wrong amount.
3. The affected affiliates will be contacted directly to inform them of how much extra is due from the past 4 months, due to the error, and we will make payment by the end of the month to correct the difference.
Please bear with us,
Kind Regards

Well, I haven't read the whole thread as I already know what happened.
They shaved the stats because they know they can, as stats are almost completely unverifiable. If someone catches them on a test run, they trot out a crock of BS and excuses. They only shave selectively, as to shave everyone's stats would risk getting comprehensively rumbled.
Am I close?
Anyway, this is a dodgy group. So if you promote them, expect trouble.
If I read this I get really really scared also when I got their promo mail today which i posted hereWell, I haven't read the whole thread as I already know what happened.

THESE ARE MICORGAMING POWERED BRANDS accredited at Casinomeister !!
IF this is all true then this industry is really revealing its true identity!
I think we'll certainly want to look at that GCG. Here or at AGD no matter. Since they are here in the PS forum, maybe a new thread?
I feel the challenge for affiliates that are earning with PS is wondering if earning at 50% and deductions is happening to them too. It's hard to tell. Pretty sure it didn't just happen to me. Even for me, I am not going to be sure everything is correct.
Is it possible to request Micro or eCogra to do some tests and report for us?

I did that with Starpartner and to be honest it has been a waste of time really. Is it possible to request Micro or eCogra to do some tests and report for us?
Only thing that helps is reporting the R-word and B-word but these have to be used as a last attempt to get things even.
Mojo if you are looking for answers from ecogra (MG) and microgaming do not expect an answer within a few months and I can almost predict the result for you, it would be something like this :
Our findings are supported by the extensive testing we recently performed at your affiliate program's account, which confirmed that: Affiliate revenue is calculated accurately and deductions are correctly allocated.
If that's the case, better be off with Playshare. Such sites will no longer bring luck to players but will just bring us into disaster.![]()
Dear All,
Apologies for the late response, this is due to us doing a thorough audit of the situation.
The reason for the error is that in recent months, we have been hard at work with a hardware optimisation project to consolidate the gaming server infrastructure to provide a better play experience to our players through improved performance and uptime.
PlaysharePartners operates off a datamart of sorts, so as not to impact gameplay or customer support activities, as well as optimise its reporting requirements.
Unfortunately, during a project phase that happened in July 2010, a replication subscription to player data was not refreshed, impacting a specific group of players and some of the logic in the PlaySharePartners site relating to those players. This resulted in the figures that a small group of affiliates were seeing on their earnings reports being inaccurate and sometimes variably so.
This data replication problem has since been rectified and this issue has now been resolved.
Sincere apologies to the affiliates affected, our testing and QA should have picked this up, but for some reason, which is currently under investigation internally, this shortfall fell through the cracks.
We do have a list of the affiliates affected and they will be contacted shortly, and as stated previously we will be paying the difference to each affiliate.
Again, apologies for the time in getting to you all, there was a vast amount of data to be looked at.
Kind Regards
