No matter how illegal the hosting company is, when approached with DMCA they've got 24 hours to reply or they can get in serious trouble. Now who the hell will be that stupid to get their feet wet for one schmuck who pays 5-6$ a month.

In addition to what Ben said, fill out a DMCA with Google, so they ban them from the serps. Since it's the homepage, that's gonna hit them hard.

Lastly, affiliate programs have been kind enough to already ban their accounts, so pretty much, that website will never make a dime off your back.

Job done, at least for the time being, thanks for all the help folks....I'd also like to thank Hodgeyboy from Betfred for going over and above as his actions have no doubt played a significant part in resolving the issue and looking back it was probably the email from Betfred closing his affiliates account which alerted him to the offence being public knowledge. This was probably compounded by the cease and desist i sent to the email Rak supplied. Cheers fellas....

No problem at all. I think it was just the cumulative effect of closing his betfred account and then seeing the level of detail that Rak and others were able to dig up on him.

Some of you will prob know better than I will, but do you think that fact he had his 'new'/ripped-off site on an '/indexb' sub-domain suggest that he was preparing to set it live and launch it as the 'new and improved' (& totally stolen) bonobux.es?

The fact that in most cases he hadn't even got around to swapping out your affiliate links for his makes me think that you managed to find him before he was ready. The fact that we were all able to collaborate before he got started will hopefully convince a few others considering this sort of action that it isn't worth the effort - well... we live in hope!
