Default Programs to avoid in 2013 - Based on Belosers.com opinion

Of course this is my own opinion and everyone should do their own research and read all the forums and do research on each program. But since 2012 is almost to an end I wanted to post the 5 programs I feel (IMO) are a no starter!!

    1. Bwin.Party - The main ones here are all Party brands and Bwin brands. I would avoid them like the plague based on historical data on how they have shafted affiliates.

    2. Europartners - No explanation needed here - just do research and you will understand why we feel they are a bad program to push - read their forum postings.

    3. Guru Revenue - If you wanna get paid as an affiliates for sure avoid this group.

    4. Full Tilt Poker - When they come out with the new affiliate program I would seriously recommend people remember all the trouble they caused historically and present day. They have shafted all the affiliates who promoted them in the past.

    5. Ladbrokes - They shafted all US affiliates and for that reason I will not touch these shaddy characters. As far as I am concerned they are a bunch of clowns.

    Caution: Income Access Warning

I would also like to caution anyone who is planning or thinking to promote any site/program that uses INCOME ACCESS backend stats. From my perspective there is to much room for abuse and it appears IA can not do much about it. I am not saying Income Access is at fault - but there are some brands who use Income Access that have not paid affiliates, are posting wrong stats data and still continue to use IA services. For this reason I just wanted to indicate caution is required!!

Feel free to update this list with your recommendations on programs to avoid.

Looks like a fairly sensible list to me so far, but I hope it has a way to go. There are many more suitably qualified to be on the list.

I totally agree guys - much more needs to be applies and done on this. Beaffiliates for sure I know that - what i am doing is gathering all the information needed and because most of the other ones i want to add all belong to "INCOME ACCESS" I want to apply them in the INCOME ACCESS category to show abuse while using that program - of course there are others as well. Feel free to update this thread with rogue casinos and as i get spare time and funds to add new content i certainly will do my part to expose these theives.

Non of the affiliate programs belong to Income Access the simply use the IA platform, I think this attack at IA is not right you can look at pretty every affiliate back office software company and find programs that have shaved, changed stats ect so i think rather than attacking Income Access you should focus on the actual programs.

Just my thoughts and no doubt the thought of every program that uses Income Access that it truthful and honest.

    Regards

    Shaun,

I understand that you are passionate about IA and you are adamant about defending them but you need to understand where affiliates are coming from.

This is a 3rd party that has to many holes. No one is saying it's intentional.

We could turn this into a positive by addressing what can be done to fix that rather than saying everyone else does it so don't pick on IA?

    Just sayin.

I understand 100% where affiliate are coming from but I really feel that attacking Income Access or in fact any software provider is wrong, I think you should be attacking the programs directly that are scamming affiliates.

I can think of a number of operators that work with or had worked with Net Refer that have gone bankrupt or have been/our rouged I can also think of many sites that have worked My Affiliates again that have been rouged or gone bust but you are not including these software platforms when you talk about rouge/scam ect.

Pretty much 99.9% of companies that work in gaming can manipulate the daily data this is a simple fact now this does not mean that everybody is changing stats far from it I think it is a very small percentage of companies that are doing this , and simply to say that Income Access has holes is not correct the statement that should be used is that all affiliate software providers have “potential holes” if they are taking the daily/weekly/monthly date direct from the operator and not the source.

I also agree this a thread could be created to discuss any areas of the software that could be improved and I am 100% sure that the IA team and in fact all operators that use the product would be happy for this to happen.

    Regards

This is a 3rd party that has to many holes. No one is saying it's intentional.

We could turn this into a positive by addressing what can be done to fix that rather than saying everyone else does it so don't pick on IA?

    Just sayin.

    Hi Guys

every day another Affiliate is being burned by these monsters Affiliate Programs, as i see it we have only 2 options
    1. spread the word, just like this post and hope that other Affiliates wont fall for these scams.
2.create a new reality of Affiliates and Affiliate managers, meaning everybody will work together with full transparency.

after a lot of "mistakes" and oops I'm sorry and what not i have decided that only Affiliates who will share with me a very basic information such as traffic type and sources will get my full attention and guys it works both ways.

lets start being honest and enjoy the game

Blaming Income Access for scamster affilaite programs is like blaming your calculator when you don't like the balance in your chequebook
It makes no sense to blame the tool that simply provides reporting.

I am not sure you read the thread(s) Gooner or your calculator is broken. It's fine that you don't agree but please respect that others don't agree with you and not make light of things.

it isn't though is it. what the OP is arguing for is that income access close the loopholes so their software isn't open to abuse.

From what I've seen of the Income Access software and reports :
    - Income Access software provides daily tracking and reporting of images, clicks and banner management.
    - Income Access software provides a batch facility for financial files to be uploaded that contain pre-formatted data on signups, revenue and other monetary data by affiliate programs.

I say this simply by observing that click and tracking data seems to be updated on a daily basis and seems to arrive independent of financial data. And when affiliates have queried the delay of financial information then Income Access have said that they are waiting on client files.

The affiliate program is responsible for providing that extract of data - and that data is mapped and created in any number of different ways - depending on the fields within the programs own financial software. Again this makes sense. There are many variants of online gambling program software - and Income Access is not embedded inside that software.

If a bad affiliate program decides to manipulate financial numbers within their own system - and send lower totals - then there is no way to detect that change in the received file.

If you read the OP - it stays within the bounds of reason and acknowledges that there is little that Income Access can do if data sent by fraudulent affiliate programs is incorrect. I don't disagree with the OP at all in this regard.

... it appears IA can not do much about it. I am not saying Income Access is at fault ..
However, I struggle to undersatand the inference in the OP that if you think that a program is prepared to skim customers and create fraudulent affiliate data that it is more likely to do it with the implementation of Income Access reporting. New reports do not make it easier or harder to do - it's irrelevant.

The Income Access software simply reports the financial numbers provided by affilaite programs.

Later on Mojo seems to expect Income Access to do the impossible - and extrapolate missing or changed data from files and detect what's been manipulated.

Mojo didn't like that calculator example - and somehow seemed to think it was not relevant - although I cannot see why it was a clear example of misplaced blame ...

As I understand it Income Access does not create the financial data - it reports what is provided by clients. You cannot blame correctly functioning reporting software for the numbers.

Basically : If you don't like the news (numbers) - don't shoot the messenger (IA).

I didn't say or expect anything like that and I certainly never expected IA to find missing anything so I'm not sure where that came from. I said that it's worth looking into to try to make a positive from all of this to see if there is some way to stop any manipulation from happening in the first place.

For example, RTG does not allow programs to remove players and the program has to write them and ask. Sounds reasonable to me.

If the calculator is defective and missing the zero button, I wouldn't use it to balance my checkbook is all.

I think these threads are at least establishing that IA has this issue. If affy's don't mind then ok, I'm not going to argue about it. At least we are aware and thanks to GFPC for pointing it out.

Let me just use your RTG example, so I have worked with RTG in the past and we exported the data from them to our data warehouse and then to Income Access, so if we had wanted to we could have chopped a player removed a large loss for example, so in my view it is impossible to change the system unless you ship the data direct from the supplier.

I think Income Access have around 1000 plus partners that that use the software platform and some companies like us have up to 14 products per skin so just for our three main sites they would need to have get daily 42 different batch reports direct from each supplier and that would be 14,000 batch reports for all sites this just screams total disaster to me.

I 100% get what this thread is about and I hate the fact that companies scam affiliates i think it is 100% dishonest and wrong and the programs that do it should flamed and shamed in public but as i have said a number of times targeting the software provider is not the right thing to do.

    Shaun,

You like to use words like 'targeting' and 'attacking' but that is not the case here. We are discussing.

I don't understand the venom of some of the posters here that are so upset about this that are defending IA. You are attacking affiliates. I understand you have a vested interest but bullying is not the answer. Please try not to tell anyone what is 'the right thing to do'.

    You Doth Protest too Much.

I don't use IA and after this thread I probably never will so I have no horse in this race.

    Good luck.

Better not to use a 3rd party and get the data direct, no?
