For me it's not about the monetary value of a gift as much as a friendly hello or thanks for working with us that is truly SINCERE mean more to me.

The chocolates get eaten (hint I love sweets), the t-shirts eventually wear out, but the cards and hand written notes....I still have them and probaby always will.

Today is Christmas email day? I already got 3 emails from operators today to wish me Happy Holidays. Of course all of them are just automated emails that they send to all affiliates, nothing personal.

Each Affiliate manager must have hundreds of accounts to look after, surely you'd rather their time go into looking after your / everyone's account than a personalized email?

They send presents or cards by regular mail to some affiliates. So a personalized email to "good" affiliates would be nice.

If there are any aff programs out there that have a branded diary that includes a 2014 calendar of UK and /or European sporting events then we would love to receive them - they're double plus useful for us to keep on top of what is coming up - and would help keep your program top of mind.

The majority of high street bookies in the UK and Europe have these. They give them out to all regular punters in the shops.

Gift Basket from 888 ,Which is really a trunk and it is stuff full of great things like Bathrobes,Shampoos , chocolate and wine.This was amazing surprise since we only made mid $xx,xxx in 2013 with them but are constantly bugging for more exposure.
The one I am most excited about has not arrived as Referback is sending me something and at least 10 times Colin has contacted me to see if it arrived lol.
Although this is not just from their affiliate department I wanted to mention the most thoughtful thing that happened to us .As some of you know my brother recently passed away October 30 and this has been a tough time for our family.My husband is a VIP player at Fortune lounge and they were very supportive to us for the last 2 months that my brother was in hospital.His VIP host called us about three weeks ago and said they wanted to do something for us and they offered to send our family on a trip for the holidays.We booked our plane tickets and picked out an amazing 5 bedroom villa in Florida and sent them the bill and they sent us the money plus some extra for Disney tickets meals etc.
Having said all that this year I have really been absent for sending cards and gifts myself so I am sorry there are no gifts and cards in the mail but once I get back into living again I will send off stuff to the guys and girls who make me love this business so much.

just got back from Australia and couldn't get my head round seeing christmas decorations up while im walking around in 40c heat and in shorts, wrong on so many levels

got a nice hamper from bet365, bottle of wine from activewins and something that got delivered nextdoor that I haven't been arsed to go round and collect yet

all nice to get especially as I've been a grumpy pain in the arse sometimes this year, although people that personally know me on here will say Im actually not in the flesh and away from work (i hope)

must say seeing the office girls walking around the CBD all the time was somewhat of a nice treat
