Hey everyone,

We have recently been victimized by an affiliate. Wayne Jackson is his name and his url is http://www.p4ks.com/. Everybody STAY AWAY from this guy! He initially sent us an email in on Feb 1, 2009 and asked if we would like to speak to him about promotions, so I added him to msn and away we went. Below is his actual proposal:

“For monthly fee of $XXX per month, we will place a gurantee that you will receive anywhere from 40+ depositing players or full refund issued.
Positon (1) Comes with banners on every page, Inclusion to our database of 9000+ registered readers from our News Letter
and over 1000 regsitered community forum members that are currently active and depositing players.

For a one time offer we are prepaird to offer you 2 months for the price of one as a test run if you wanted this option as well.”

We came to an agreement and I foolishly sent him prepayment for his “services”. After a couple of months of zero results, I contacted him and asked for our money back. He said that he would pay us back, but now it’s June and he still hasn’t paid us. It seemed highly unlikely that we were going to get our money back, so we asked around and tried to find out more about Wayne and it turns out that he is known for running schemes like this. Below is a snippet of a response from one of Wayne’s ex-employees,

“he sets up media deals with casino's gets up front money, makes guarantees he will bring in xxx amount of depositing players or your money back, once the casino manager sends him the money he disappears, this is his MO and I don't deal with people of this nature. he also owed me alot of money and never paid me or other staff"

We emailed him numerous times and he would take weeks to get back to us and it seemed like we were chasing a ghost at times. We are not making false accusations and we have all the supporting conversations and emails saved between the two of us. We just want to alert everybody of this and make sure that it doesn’t ever happen to anyone again! If anyone has any additional information or has been a victim to this scheme, please PM me or post about it.

Sorry to hear you got scammed however i have to say a very quick look at his forum, his alexa ranking, his PR ranking should have told you his promises looked optimistic to say the least.

Always have to do due dilligence before handing any money over, looking at his forum alone shows just over 1000 members, the chances of that being 1000 active members is basically zero, a closer look at his forum just confirms that,

I know this is of no comfort and that you have lost money but at least you are doing the right thing by bringing this to peoples attention.

What i was trying to say was, yes you may have made a mistake but i am sure you wont allow it to happen again so something good has come out of it in that sense.

I see they have a CAP logo, have you posted over there, maybe at least you can get that seal removed, also consider bringing it to the attention of their hosting, other affiliate programs that are on there and so on.

You never know, by applying pressure in all sorts of areas he may decide its better to pay you.

Listen, don't beat yourself up over this. I was also scammed by this guy. I went to work for him but didn't know what i was getting into until after the fact. He still owes me money from way back and im certainly not expecting it. I do know that he does offer these x amount of players to casinos that will deposit and promise to give them their cashback if the requirements are not met but that never happened, He did this to the Grand Prive Group when i was working for him ( ughhhhhhh i even hate to say that i worked for him ) And, i suppose that when he see's that i have replyed to this thread i will get more threating e-mails saying how he can ruin me and my board and my reputation as a forum owner. People that know me knows that i am honest and i don't do the horrible things that he does.
He preyed on you because you are pretty new to the business and it's a shame that he continues to do these things to good people.

I hate hearing this stuff. Always someone getting scammed one way or another. Talk is cheap my friends and if it were me I would follow this fellow to the brink.

Be polite and business like is okay but under these circumstances I say not. I see this stuff everyday 24/7 and it sickens me.

Good people be taken advantage just don't sit well IMO.

Thanks Jaxon for the post it tells us all something about the character of some people. I personally would be outraged the money spent could have gone towards a more worthy cause.

It happens to the best of us. I've had some bad deals - even with a former member. It's a tough pill to swallow, but sometimes taking a risk will bring reward. The status quo doesn't always pay off.

That said, due diligence (calculated risk) on all financial measures is important for any business.

He does do this. When someone speaks out against him he likes to send private messages or emails with threats. I've received them myself in the past.

Once a long time ago, before I knew him, I used to talk to him and felt sorry for him.. thinking he was getting picked on.

But now, I know better. He is a scammer 100%. And it amazes me how many people he fools.

It's because of people like him that there's so much distrust in our industry.

The campaign was suppose to begin, And we had made the deal arrangements that Jaxon has so kindly advertised. No one is disagreeing there. As Jaxon wasn't to sure weather he should list the amount it is $495.

Let me say this to you Jaxon,

I am still yet to receive a reply from your boss in relation to payment, We were working through an arrangement to have the $495 repaid as we did not meet our arrangement deal.

But I will not support a marketing company of your nature to publicly slam me considering you haven't even bothered to reply to me. I have been on msn countless times while you have been on and not one message has come through regarding our proposal we sent yous.

So long as this post remains, You are costing us potential Affiliate earnings which will add upto alot more than $495.

You hadn't even had a deal signed by us or you in which I thought then was very stupid. We had full intentions of getting your campaign started. However due to site issues WHICH CAN be confirmed with our hosting company and other matters which prevented us from getting this of the ground.

We have at all times said when we were in a position to repay this we would, We even suggested a payment installment "WE ARE YET" To hear back.

In response to Sharon from Online Casino Bonus Forum, You deserved everything you got, Even as far as trying to claim to Golden Associates the affiliate company for Golden Casino that you had alot more members and traffic that you did. Anyone can have this confirmed. As the casino refused to continue with there Media Deal.

As most Casino affiliates will know Sharon is equal owner to there site with Livefree247 - Rhonda. Need i say anymore about them, I am sure you know. As a few of you have spoken to us about them.

As for you Daera,

Your opinion is worthless to me Daera, You have always been an over dramatized [derogatory term edited out of this post], You are someone that it doesnt matter what you promote as long as your pocket is lined with the Dollar sign. You claim to be ethical but you know you were invloved with the hacking and destruction of my first Ezboard Site Gambling Gods, We still have the logs of when you went in and admined ex employees. It seems that you are 100% at fault here, and the posting of this issue here is a reason why we all participate. You are also entitled to respond here too and be listened to!

Had you came here and posted honest answers and excuses you may have recieved some support or at least been excused as it seems that you may want to repay but do not have the finances.

On one hand speaking publicly about someones personal life, on the other complaing when a business deal is made public.

I dont know the ins and outs of all this and dont care but to do what you did is so poor, you simply could not say your piece could you without making such a statement.

You could have made an arguement without that, you chose not to.

Thanks mate but be asured i am not scared off by this sort of posting, what i am finding hard to swallow is the lack of moderation now on the GPWA, i know it needs to be transparent but jeez some things now are becoming standard practise and crossing the line, which in turn derails threads.
