I am with you 100%, CAC has less people attending due AAC I hope we dont see LAC being affected.

And needless to say it is doubly galling when this second conference is apparently being organized by some of these operators!

I'm sure Simmo and I are not the only ones that feel this way.

It doesn't have to be a formal conference - it may lack the parties, but there is something to be said for an informal get together to play some games and chat.... And best of all, we could plan for a weekend - so us with full time jobs dont have to kill all our vacation to make it out!
I would love something like this matt.

I don't think this needs to be moved to another thread unless there is a plan for that. At this point it's still about conferences. Speaking of that, is the conferences getting cut-throat? I don't know, I've still not been to one.

I think it's a good testiment that affiliates want a simple venue to meet each other. That would be excellent. Nothing formal and not expensive.

I agree Pat. Steve (bb1) started GAP and then GAP decided that was their name. I don't like that. Not fair GAP, I mean GAP. Oh not you GAP! Not right. GAP is FREE! The other GAP will cost you.

    Hang in there steve.

No need to take offense Alex, not pointed at you... I was thinking of a certain now about history group that had an event that got rather steamed.

I respect your events and meant no disrespect to you.

@Mojo: you lost me... GAP N' GAP? I have been heavily medicated since late Jan so pardon my ignorance. The only GAP I knew of was bb1's I think, maybe not, I dunno. PM me what you meant, I need to get this sorted in my head too.

Sorry buddy - I am too sensitive - So used to defending myself

Anyways re your other questions - here are the two GAPs

GAP1 - www.gamblingaffiliateprograms.org (this is the one that was originally the discussion centre for the 65 affiliates but I am not quite sure what it is or where its going now - They are the ones doing the potential event in London

GAP2 - www.gamblingaffiliateplace.com started by Steve (bb1) - Affiliate forum with a some interesting threads and so far no conference

Here is a "Stop Press" Soon there will be another GAP www.gamblingaffiliateprograms.com - If the owner gets what he wants sorted it should be an interesting addition to the mix

    Any other GAP's

Alex, thanks for the clearing up of the GAP thing. I am launching a GAP of my own... Gawd Another Program....

Change my vote to "nay" I was under the impression this was something bb1 was doing, way too much codeine in my blood stream.

I would like to attend ICE and LAP/LAC whatever you wanna call it. I really have not interest in the "other' gap, the one with 46 programs or whatever it is/was and that has fallen off the radar. Ok, time for a nap...

I would love a Vegas conference! But... another conference vendor in the mix No thanks. It's going to be so spread out that pretty soon affiliate programs will go broke from trying to attend them all.

Jeez.... leave them alone. Let's have a couple per year and be done with it. This is all just getting way out of control (IMO).

Sorry... but that's what I see with all these conferences. Money drainers for affiliate programs when they come so damn frequently.

No kidding that is not a very 'industry friendly' like thing to do and seems kind of underhanded to me due to the fact that it's not a servcie that is needed or wanted.

And why is it that everyone (AM's and Operators) appear to be hiding out these days? There are several issues/posts/topics that seem to go unanswered and being that it's the begining of the work week seems odd to me.

I intend to to attend every event that Alex and the 3 musketeers arrange.

To be honest his events do not fail operators, and like wise with affiliate the idea of the pub was great thanks Roman for the free beer, I would love to see it in Budapest and London.

The only other event i will be attending will be CAC and of course ICE, that me for the year if of course i see the votes for GAP go to like 4000 then of course i will rock up but i cant see that happening...

Alex and the 3 musketeers keep up the great work.

    Shaun
